They've been playing the Cranberries there ever since that section was rethemed from Hastings into Killarney back in 2002.

That's because the games are in that area the music is the same at the Oktoberfest games. Now in the rest of Festa Italia it is the "carousel" type music. A lot of people don't even notice that music because they rarely go beyond Apollo's chariot.

You are incorrect; the games areas play their respective hamlet music. They do not have their own separate tracks. All of Festa Italia is from the carousel. Yes, the dink dink dink music is from the carousel.

The only music that comes from a game that you hear in Festa is 3 Point's pop/hip hop songs. All the other games are music-less unless the games attendant at Wack-A-Hun plays their music.

Were these older songs played? I haven't heard any of them played in the past 6 years.

EDIT: I am excited that most of these albums are cheap, like around the $10 price range.

New France just got a new soundtrack. I was confused to say the least. Its vocal, sounds a bit Irish, and leans towards Christmas a bit.

Would love to hear what you guys think.

^ when we we eating at the area by Griffon, the music was very much a county/cowboy/western mix.

I also noticed that the songs in Ireland have also changed. More stuff with vocals, less instrumentals.

I actually love all the new music that has shown up around the park. We haven't heard true hamlet soundtracks in a very long time. Hopefully these are changes that will stick.

By the way if anyone hasn't noticed, they change the hamlet music for the Food & Wine Festival. Greek music is played all throughout Pompeii; Spanish music all over the Gardens of DaVinci; Scandinavian music all over Ireland. It sucks they can't just have booth themed music just around the booth and have it over an entire hamlet.

In Ireland, I think they centralized the Scandinavian music around its kiosk eventually. Ireland has more sound channels playing at a time than DaVinchi's Garden of Inventions and some other areas. Ireland,England,and Oktoberfest,especially have several sound channels that they can switch on and off however they want. I hope they will continue to tweak the music as the event goes on. It's very Interesting though,how the in-park sound design is set up. That's always been one of my favorite things about Busch Gardens.

I think it's the best thing they do to establish the detailed European atmosphere. Just one of the many small things that puts them at a higher class than plenty of other parks...
