Join our new, slightly demented, Executive Chef for a culinary event you won’t soon forget, no matter how hard you may try. Exclusive menus each night featuring Chef Paul’s special concoctions like Vampire Blood Sucker Shooter and Grilled Pork Flesh with Pickled Intestines and Bone Marrow Cream to Slow Roasted De-Boned Beef Carcass with Blood Gravy and Plucked Green Frog Legs, and even Road Kill Pumpkin Bar with Cemetery Dirt and Embalming Fluid Sauce will keep you coming back for more and more gore!

I love it. Really just that simple. If the food actually ends up being good I'll be singing their praises. Culinary has never been a highpoint for KD. If they pull this off, I think it will be a very important 2nd step in the right direction for the department.

It very well could be a huge culinary bump for KD but honestly this is my favorite time of the year so hope KD doesn't disappoint

Is this a new facade? I have never done Club Blood before, but from pictures I have seen it looks like in past years Club Blood didn't have a facade and was just a graffiti-d building.

I saw another photo of this (different angle) on kdfansite's Facebook page. From that photo, it appears the new facade is up at the front of the line. It does not appear to be directly in front of the Haunt building. Sort of like it is for Zombie High's facade.

Hmmmmm ..... maybe the park decided to refresh some of the older mazes, like "Club Blood", this year instead of replacing "Miner's Revenge"? Anyone have any Haunt connections and know if the maze itself was changed/refreshed? (It has been modified twice since it first opened).

I got a voice mail from a park exec today, notifying me that my reservation for VIP Haunt dinner VIA email, has not been accepted. I made no such reservation VIA email, and I'm guessing that somebody submitted a 'wrong #' to the park, which happened to be my #.

That person is going to be very disappointed then.

mwhinva- It would not shock me if it does receive updates. As you said, it has received updates the past few years. I know a few of the mazes around the park has received updates (CornStalkers can be seen from the Eiffel Tower).

With the closure of Miner's Revenge and not being replaced, I'm sure they were/ are channeling the budget that would have gone to that maze to some of the other houses/ scare-zones.

Big fan of the new Club Blood facade. Looks great. I always thought the theming outside of Club Blood was pretty lackluster, so I'm glad to see it get an update. I'd also like to see Doll Factory get some more work on its facade or the queue area. The baby doll face is creepy, but it's the only real bit of theming outside of the maze. Needs more to spice it up a bit.

I love the big facades of Cornstalkers, No Vacancy, Zombie High, Slaughterhouse, and Maze of Madness (from the pictures I've seen). It's much better than just walking up to a building and being like, "K, go in the maze." I like being able to get into the theme while in line, so I'm glad to see KD is making an effort to amp up the outside of the mazes.

I found more information on the Haunt VIP Dinners. It is on a food related Blog for Cedar Point and all other Cedar Fair parks. It has the dates for the dinners and the menu for this Saturday's meal (27th). The dinner is only being offered the 1st 2 Saturdays of Haunt. (Hence, the Tower Tastings event this coming Sunday). Then, for the next 3 Haunt weekends in a row, the VIP dinner is Saturday AND Sunday. No VIP dinners the last weekend of operations. The menu will vary for each of the 8 Haunt VIP meals for 2014.

I gotta be honest I don't like Club Blood that much. My favorites are Zombie High School and Medieval Macabre... although that one's gone now . Ill see how Maze of Madness does though.

I gotta agree with you. It's not that I dislike it, but I just always find it kind of middle-of-the-pack. I know it is a crowd favorite though.

Personally, my favorites are No Vacancy and Doll Factory. The theme in No Vacancy is fantastic. There is just so much detail in every room. It also seems to have a large number of actors. I've gone in the front of my group the last couple years and it felt like I had an actor in my face around just about every corner. With Doll Factory, I'm just generally creeped out by dolls, so this maze is a blast for me. The actors look fantastic and I find them to be some of the hardest to distinguish between real and fake of all the mazes (toss up with Cornstalkers). Also, in my opinion, no room of any maze in the park tops the mannequin room at the end.
