^This. I wish KD would stop advertising Blue Ridge Bloodbath or whatever they decide to call haunted overlay for the Tollway as a "maze." Calling the experience a "maze" does no justice to what this thing is in a negative or positive way. There's just not a good way to execute scares (particularly pop-up scares) on a ride-through attraction of this design. I think a better approach would be to advertise the attraction as simply a "Haunted Attraction" and let riders drive their way through a spooky story told throughout the ride, sort of like the former train ride at BGW. Heck, if KD ever got a train ride they could put this, a haunted train, and Boo Blasters (since Planet Snoopy is technically closed during Haunt) in their own category to be advertised as "Haunted Attractions" alongside mazes, scarezones, and shows. Seems like a different way to help market such attractions with a slightly re-purposed style.

I think they should remove the cars and make everybody walk the concrete path through the woods. It would be much scarier, without the car to make you feel 'in control'.

The thing about the cars is that they're quite loud so they tend to take away from the experience and it's harder to hear the actors at times. While I give it props for certainly being unique, it's practicality is something of an issue.

As I went through Dinosaurs Alive on Sunday and into the woods, I couldn't keep my mind off something. This place screams skeleton/cave man house. If they added limits to where the actors could go, lighting for the trail, and maybe a price. I know it sounds like it would be impossible but it's not. The backstory would be the meteors are coming and everything is now madness in the woods. There would be fire effects, lighting, and noise. Imagine hearing the thump of a T-Rex as you walked in your group through the woods. There would also be skeletons and cave men gone mad along with the dinosaurs with all effects working. Now I know some of you are going to be like "But what about the event during the day!?!" You can easily put up tarps over the props and the lighting and fog doesn't need to be hidden. This may sound like a challenge to the park but if Cedar Point can do it I think we can. It's just a dream but Kings Dominion has been suprising me this year. So any thoughts?

Unfortunately, while that area in theory would be cool, due to the length and how dark it is, it wouldn't be a good fit. There's also the fact that the area is already used for Halloween for the kids.

I already mentioned but there would be tarps hiding all of the props the kiddies shouldn't see but would be taken down after five. Fog and lighting would be left out. There would also be a cave section that would be a lot like Miners Revenge.

I have to say, thumping and rustling in the woods doesn't scare you? You guys are just to manly for halloween fun. Maybe like a prehistoric monster thing would work better. The Bush Monsters Revenge! There we go!

That's more like it! Bush Monsters sound scary. Jungle tunnels with big plants in the way that you need to push aside not knowing what's behind the next plant. Snakes of unusual size and Big 'Princess Bride' rats! (sounds expensive)

The reality is that a path that long would cost a fortune to theme/staff for a proper maze. As much as I would love a dinosaur house, this would not be a good location for one.
