Had a chance to go through Miners Revenge, very solid maze. Should not disappoint.

Very nice changes in No Vacancy this year on the inside, but I'm not sure when they'll finish them.

Cornstalkers is also great with it's new changes, feels like an all new maze.

Current plans call for me visiting the opening night of Haunt tomorrow. What kinds of crowds should I expect, if I arrive around 6 or so? Hopefully I'll be able to snap some pictures for you all!

I plan to get there around 6:30 or so. If you dress up as a monster, then you can get a ticket for $19.99 and enter the park at 6:00p.m. Otherwise, the park opens at 7pm.

Been meaning to post that for a long while now, but in case you missed it, here it is. You might want to "right click -> Open in New Tab" to be able to see the image clearly.

So Evan, do you know if dressing up as a monster actually gets you into the park before everyone else (aka early admission), or is it just the monster party that you get to be a part of?

I would assume there is some liability with dressing up as a monster. What about the no costume policy? Or does KD even have one?

Kings Dominion does this sort of thing all the time. Their policy, they can alter it for special occasions like this.

It's always been policy to have no masks though.

As you can tell I don't keep up with KD as much as you guys do. The no masks thing actually stems from VA law as well. It is illegal for anyone to wear a mask in public in the state of Virginia because of it being able to hide your identity and such.
But I was inquiring more on the general costume policy. I was under the impression that you could wear a costume to KD and stay and enjoy HH in said costume. I wasn't sure if the costume was only allowed for just the party thing?

Well I would guess they wouldn't expect you to spend an hour or so getting dressed up to just dance around for an hour and then change into another pair of clothes during Haunt time.

For the record, I've seen people walk around Busch in costumes (face paint included) during HOS without any issues. As long as nobody wears masks, they should be good.

Facepaint has always been allowed, and costume depends on how you define it. After much research I find that most people sneak costumes in to the park versus actually wearing them to the park.
