Hate to burst your bubble, but kiddy hamlets are closed at 8. (LotD is the one I'm a bit confused about, since the time is blacked out on the map from last year, but in previous years it was 8.)
Source: I own the maps from the past several years.

(I apologize for my off topic post, but I was forum lurking, and his incorrect facts bugged me.)

Medieval Macabre is looking great!

I hate that picture, at least they way it had been edited. I'd prefer a more straight shot picture of one thing not, six things split up and pasted together.

On Tuesday, there were a few performers in day clothes on that hideous Grove Stage talking to who must have been a director, moving around stage, and singing, talking, and dancing. They put a sign out that said "Rehearsals in Progress," which can only mean they are planning a new(?) show for Haunt on the new stage. I didn't get any pictures, but it wasn't really worth looking at, anyway; what I described is literally all there was. Anyway, assuming there's a show, maybe they'll outfit the stage with some set piece or decoration for Haunt.

MoonMaxx Productions has already finished casting for Haunt according to their Facebook page, but they only released the cast for 2 shows. "Uprising" and "Edge of Darkness" I'm going to assume "Uprising" will be returning to the stage in front of the Eiffel Tower. I don't suspect them to release the names of all the shows, but hopefully it's not just these two.

Which leaves "Edge of Darkness" which is a new show this year. If any of you were wondering there was 5 shows last year:
  • "Overlord Resurrection" which is located at the very front of the dark.
  • "Uprising"
  • "Blood Drums" which is was located on the Grove stage under Drop Tower (in front of the Waterworks entrance). So maybe Blood Drums will be returning and they will use the new relocated Grove Stage?
  • "The Night Shift" located in the Kings Dominion Theater.
  • "Haunted House a Thrilling 3d Experience" located in the Action Theater.

Keep in mind that the shows "Got Country" and "Pop Fusion" are supposed to run though Labor Day weekend. Therefore, the International Street Stage / Grove Stage setup cannot be changed for another week. Maybe a few spring/summer performers, who are staying on to perform though Haunt, are getting an early start rehearsing. Most Haunt show rehearsals don't begin in earnest until sometime after Labor Day though.

It could be that an existing performer of the "Got Country" / "Pop Fusion" cast had to leave before the shows close this upcoming weekend and they might be holding rehearsals for their replacement to practice. Tuesday is the day off for this cast.

Anyone know how much the Fright Lane passes will be? I'm having a hard time finding prices...

I'm sure there is lots of stuff that still needs to be updated. So it might be a while before those are shown. We still have a month before the event starts, So i'm sure it will be updated by the day.

I put together a post for those that like to see everything all in one place (like myself) to clear up any type of confusion that may occur. Even if you have looked through the Haunt site, you still might want to look at this post.

Evan,

MoonMaxx took over producing the 2012 Haunt shows "The Night Shift" and "The Uprising" last fall. Fancy Pants Productions left Kings Dominion after the final Pop/Country shows closed Labor Day Weekend of 2012.

According to the press release the park sent sent out to media outlets earlier this month, there should be 5 shows for Halloween Haunt. The 2 shows MoonMaxx is doing, probably 2 kids shows, and one more show ("Blood Drums" coming back for its 3rd year or something else?). They might tweak the show "Uprising" if it is in its 3rd year. I guess we will have to wait and see.
