My coworker has been doing some cleaning around his house and is in the process of giving me older souvenirs from the park. Today he gave me this vintage Grizzly keychain. He believes he got it sometime between opening year to mid 80s. Hope to get more gifts in the future.

They fixed the pothole on the last turnaround.

OMG yes they did! I got such crazy air out of my ride earlier on the hill right before the tunnel and the one in the tunnel too.

Grizzly was already 2nd in the park for me (Pantherian was down when I went), even with that pothole being noticeable. Super glad to hear it’s fixed.

So I checked in the app and at one point it had a half hour wait. Is this physically possible?

A line to the entrance will do it! I’ve noticed a longer wait for Grizzly more often as folks realize it’s a completely different experience from years ago. Grizzly kicks so much ass!

Grizzly is an absolutely stellar coaster. My #4 woodie behind The Beast, Mystic Timbers, and the Coney Island Cyclone.

I would probably still put Pantherian and TT above Grizzly, but Grizzly is definitely the most rerideable of all KD's coasters for me. I also have so many memories of Grizzly from when I was a kid (along with tons from Shockwave, which we marathoned frequently). I hope that when KD tears down the old Skyflyer and is looking to redevelop that area, they'll give Grizzly a proper entrance. I think the current arrangement is really awkward and negatively affects Grizzly's ridership.

I love the back row and front row! The front is very smooth and so wild with it's aggressive air pops. I tend to always ride in the front when my mother comes with me.

When I'm by myself, I always hit the back row. What's wild to me, is that it's one of the few rides that actually takes my breath away on the first drop. The pull, whip, airtime and laterals are off the chain.

I just adore this ride so much! It's absolutely mind blowing to me just what a retrack can accomplish.

I haven't gotten a front row ride since the retrack because the last row is just so good with the airtime. Might have to try it this weekend if I end up going. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only thing I wish they would do is kill the lights in the turnarounds. I miss those dark night rides.

Evac today (4/3). Per Facebook, train got stuck on the lift hill and was still there at close. Looks like it was at about 12:30 judging by Queue Times.
