Yeah they definitely worked on the last bit into the brake run, I think they reprofiled the entrance to the brake run a bit too it seemed a bit smoother entry, and it gave a surprising pop of airtime on my second and third rides which were closer to the front of the train
Also that shit was running insanely fast today I wish we could get phoenix buzzbars on grizzly it would easily be a top ten wooden coaster imo

Glad you mentioned this because I got slammed to the side on the last turnaround and I've never experienced it being that forceful.

That turnaround had some really good laterals in the left seat last year, but I feel like it was even better tonight. It will throw you off guard if you’re not ready for it.

Did they touch up the last third of the ride? The whole thing felt super smooth all the way through. It was dark so I couldn’t tell if there was new wood on the track.

Nope, still the same track from before. I never found that section to be too rough, but I always appreciated its bite and I truly think it compliments a great finale.

there was some new wood on the last bunny hill under the crossover, a little bit of new wood on the first turnaround, and the switch track looked to have new wood on it. that was what I noticed yesterday. Not full track, just top it seemed.

I stuck to the back-ish of the train and the airtime was absolutely wild… became my favorite ride in the park (obv without Pantherian) and also became my #1 ever, probably until Pantherian opens back up

They recently spent a ton of money on installing Gravity Group precut track over the last two seasons and last year it got a brand new IOE control panel and new brakes.

It’s the same company (at least the CF part) that destroyed Thunder Road after years of retracking. So nothing is safe from these people

After my rides on Rapterra the other day and my one singular ride on Grizzly on top of my nearly 100 rides over the past year, I can officially say that Grizzly is STILL #3 in the park. I don’t collect nanocoasters, but for the sake of the people who do, this needs to get made.

I'd say #2 with Pantherian at #1! I had a front row ride on Grizzly last night (I hadn't had one of those in a while; I'm a back car, front row kinda guy). Unbelievably smooth and still as intense as ever. The view down the first drop and the wind make a big difference too.

It's so weird how we all find rides different. To me TT is the least re ridable in the whole park imo. Ill marathon Dominator just fine.
