I really wish everyone here who didn't get a chance to ride it before the Wayne's World Plaza expansion could've done so. Night rides were on another level.
It was also a lot cooler to be in the wooded portion of the queue and feel a world away from the rest of the park. Completely isolated.

When they hacked down the trees to make room for Wayne's World/Hurler, it was absolutely a WTF moment for me.

No sooner than DarKoaster at BGW got its own brew recently, Grizzly now has its own too.

Makes sense though, as KD and Center of the Universe did something similar in creating the Tumbili lager last year - where BTW that Tumbili lager is pretty good, and worth trying if you haven't done so already.

I did not get the chance to try this new Grizzly IPA today, which can be found at the G&G Bar; so it's a good excuse for me to go back to the park tomorrow 😉. But given the release of this one, I'm hoping we'll hear an opening announcement for Grizzly here soon.

I'm wondering if the beer was released because the brewery had it ready and there's not much space there to hold onto it/DIPAs lose a bit of their hoppiness over time so fresher is better?

My guess is COTU fit the inaugural batch into their production schedule a long time ago, which may or may not have been closely coordinated with the planned reopening of the ride, and delivered based on that.

Paramount and even Cedar Fair had/have zero idea what a great atmosphere a ride in the woods produces.

Cedar Fair had hacked down a hood number of trees as well. They have really done a job on The Beast with the removal of trees around the station when they tire down Vortex. As well as the woods they removed to build Orion.

Now when you ride The Beast at night it’s no longer dark in that area as Orion’s lights illuminate it

I am psyched out of my mind about this. Best "new" coaster in VA this year (coming from a guy who rode DarKoaster last night 👻💩). Has anyone seen/heard if they have reconfigured Grizzly's entrance/moved the bear back to the main midway for the opening? Anything that makes more sense than it does now?
