Can an exterminator not eliminate this?
The safest time for any removal is at dusk, when the wasps aren't swarming. Exterminators don't want to to place themselves and the public at risk trying to eradicate an angry swarm. It happens all over, not just BGW. Google wasps at amusement parks...

The building I work in is your standard downtown tower - even today in the rain there were wasps swarming near the upper floor windows of the conference rooms I was in. So... definitely not unique to roller coasters.

Like two years ago, I saw some devices scattered around the park(visible by train) that seemed to attract a whole lot of bees. When I was there this year, I did not see these devices around(or maybe I didn't look hard enough) I believe that it might correlate with the seemingly large amount of bee closures (or the attention they have been getting)this fall season.

Even if annoying, flying stinging objects are fairly important to the health of the plant life in the park and so it might be that they removed those traps at certain parts of the year so as to allow the pollinators the ability to do their jobs

Just drove past the park and the entire lift hill is currently lit up. Looks pretty cool. Makes me wish it could always be that way.

Lit up? Maintenance is probably doing something before training tomorrow

Yeah I'm sure they are. It just looked really cool. There was just lights going up there entire lift hill and at the top platform. You are probably correct that it is really just something to do with maintenance.

Because of JCC ordinance, they are only allowed to turn on the lights when someone has to access those areas. Kingsmill WILL complain if they are on all the time. It's also a bat signal if they turn on during operational hours to the ops staff for a ride evac. Everyone and their mother will show up at the control booth.

I'm aware. It's more just something that I wish could happen because it looks cool when it does

I feel it’s a little sad that a park can’t turn on some lights if they want to. Maybe there will be a point where the park says, hey, this is our land, we can have lights if we want.

OT but tracer lights on Invadr would be fun. Up lighting on Nessie’s loops. A fog/lighting effect at the bottom of Grifs drop.
