Technically speaking, Alpengeist is actually a hair taller than Griffon (maybe a couple feet different for one of the other) due to grade. And it's widely known that Apollo's still has the biggest drop in the park at 210'

According to FAA regulations, aviation warning lights are required on any structure that exceeds 200 feet above ground level (AGL)
Griffon is not 200 feet tall.
Griffon and Alpengeist both are roughly 195-198 feet above grade at their highest points. Alpengeist is just over the ravine and Griffon is not.

- My issue isn't the exact height, rather the assertation that Alpen is taller. Even taking in to consideration grade, it's clear Alpen isn't taller.

If your on either rides you can easily tell Apollos is taller. From Alpengeist when you crest the lift you can see Apollos pre drop just barely standing higher, and yeah I know it’s due to alpie being sat in a ravine, just makes me wonder how huge alpie would look on flat ground.

Griffon has only ever had 3 trains, they run two because it takes more team members to run with three and United Parks cuts labor wherever they can, regardless of attendance.

It's impossible to run 5 trains on a standard coaster let alone a very short dive coaster with good capacity

I’ve at most seen it run 4 but I believe there used to be (if not anymore) a 5th.
If you haven’t been on it, Sheikra has a dual loading station similar to VBolt. They are able to crank some trains out during peak season.

There are still five trains. The ride can only run four, the extra train is so the ride can run at full capacity while a train is being overhauled. Kumba also has an extra train (four, can run three), and I think Montu does as well.
Unfortunatly United Parks newer rides (especially at Seaworld Orlando) do not have an extra train, so the rides cannot run at full capacity during train overhaul. (Cost cutting measure.) This can have major operational impacts if an overhaul takes longer than expected.

Not that it probably matters but just rode by Busch and noticed griffons lift elevator (about 10ft long looking) is at the top of the lift.
