It isn't a water coaster. If this weren't a water coaster, I'd be more confident that this will actually open in 2024.
It isn't a water coaster.
Are Big Bear Mountain and SWO Manta water coasters though? Diamondback?Am I required to call it an Intamin Ultra Surf on every reference? It's a coaster whose main feature is water, gimme a break.
The water effects are visual. It's not really a true water ride as some people think. However, it is similar to Aquaman at SFOT but it's somehow a different ride experience cuz it has free spinning gondolas. This ride I’m curious if the water is just more of a “visual” on the ride than something you actually splash through. I guess we will see.
^Plus Aquaman actually DOES get you soaked I believe?
When parks are open from Spring Break through Christmas, this is a smart move as it lets you keep a coaster open longer, rather than the typical "Memorial Day-Labor Day" schedule a lot of other water rides run with.Worth noting. The Aquaman water levels can be raised or lowered, from what I understand, which directly dictates the splash. So if it's a colder day, guests can comfortably ride without getting drenched.
They forgot to proofread though… “on track for Georgia Surfer to later this Summer!”SFOG just posted about their progress on GA Surfer
That’s gonna make an insane photo opThe orange support is way too close to the bridge, which is why it's been closed off. It probobly looks intmidating by looking at it, especially when it's completed
