I visited Great Escape today and had a great time on this 4th of July weekend. Patriotic music and oldies were playing through the park. There were some additional shows this weekend as well. The dive show was very enjoyable and very nostalgic. Also, it looks like the "an enchanted park" subtitle was in fact an error. The large sign now reads Great Escape "by enchanted parks". Enjoy the pics.

Not only it sounds better, it would make more sense cuz Enchanted Parks didn’t make Great Escape
I'm indifferent to "an" vs "by." Both sound pretty cheesy to my ear. Either way, not a big deal.
What I do wish is that they'd stop fussing with that banner, take it down, and pay someone to paint a proper mural on the side of the building. It would look infinitely better than these quick-to-fade, wrinkly, cheap-looking banners.

I have to say, for how awful they ride, there really isn't much that looks more like a "roller coaster" to me than an Arrow looper. Might just be me being an elder millennial hahaha.
Actually yeah, they should’ve painted it instead and not use those banners, then they would be like their good ol days
Only way I’ll give the banner a pass is if they are working on renaming everything and this is just temporary until they do.
Show me someone with this opinion (agreed BTW), and I'll show you someone who was a whiz at T9 texting.

I was at Great Escape today and saw many more updates, first off is they’re selling Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream again since they’ve stopped all those years ago, along with new signs like Jollytree theatre and the signs next to Flags.

I know @DH_The_ThemeParkFaniac, you are right! I actually sent the park an email specifically about ADK outlaw last week. They shared with me " Outlaw is still under maintenance at this time. We do not have a timeline available for when it will return to operation. Please stay tuned for an announcement when it will be back up and running".
I hope it will be open again before the summer is over. I have not had the chance to ride it yet this year. The Comet, Bobcat and the Outlaw are my favorite rides at the park. I call them "The big 3". Greezed lightning is fun too but I know legacy SF parks historically had issues with their Larson loops.
I’m back at GE and I’ve noticed one of the signs got the “By Enchanted Parks” tagline
I know it doesn’t really matter, but I really hope they redesign the logo without the Six Flags font.

They sell these on Amazon lol. Universal has used them in the Nintendo worlds lmao.
That doesn’t make them any less charming or reduce the amount of credit Great Escape should get for making the effort.
