Yeah, agree about how ridiculous that looks.

However, my guess is that it was an extremely last-minute ask from management and they probably sent someone with practically no budget out to get whatever they can.

I’m sure the dates were just a coincidence, because the target audience for a mini celebration of a rollercoaster is not a bunch of middle schoolers. Guarantee you they picked this weekend to give a little more reason to visit between Memorial Day and the start of summer entertainment. Plus, weather is way warmer than early spring. Either way you risk a rainy weekend, but at least in June is way more likely to at minimum be warm.

That’s really awesome. Any opportunity to revive something that otherwise looks abandoned is a smart move in my book, even if it only just closed last year. Perhaps it can be used for special events? Perhaps this is a market test of the waffle fries?

Sorry for the double post. Only at KD for the second time this year, but here’s a noticeable upgrade that just happened. The inside (park facing) billboard of the three-sided sign tower has finally seen an upgrade. Too far away to tell if it was painted or a banner placed over it, but it looks like the paint option, and it has needed this for years.

Included is a picture I took today compared to one I took on April 2nd.

It’s so great to see these little cosmetic upgrades by the park. I only wish the park would advertise them more, so we could really appreciate the amount of love that does go into KD (even when it doesn’t seem to be on the same scale as other parks).

Yep, noticed that when I went last month. A much needed upgrade, because I was tired of seeing that sign paling up over the years.
