Fun Spot literally had this park in the bag.
ALL they needed to do was market the place to locals. When I was there, nobody knew the park let alone a 13 million dollar world class coaster even existed there. That's a huge problem.
Cheap beer, open late, cheaper than Six Flags, no parking fees, world class coaster - in this economy, people would eat that shit up in a heartbeat.
Its a damn shame Orlando management was so incompetent when they bought this park expecting it to bring millions of dollars without any marketing. 0.001% of the population cannot support a park like this. It needs locals to come regularly.
And its so weird. Orlando markets their parks literally everywhere. Why couldn't they do the same in Atlanta.
