Yeah, when the park changed the merchandise selection inside Pot O Gold and Girls ShamROCK! they considered those to be new shops or on the brochure it said New for 2013!

This is interesting though, I wonder what merchandise besides Elmo might possibly be going in either of those two shops. Especially considering the hand painted Italian porcelain is actually really nice and I would love to buy more of it, if I ever got around to paying off other bills and what not.

So told one of my family members about this, their response: "Ugh. I hate Elmo, Sesame Street is the biggest eyesore in the park."

Kind've what I was expecting FOF has been despised by just about everyone in my family ever since it's opened, and most of them aren't super fans like I am. Zachary's statement is sooo true, FOF was hated by virtually everyone when it opened, and is still the most hated area in the park until this day. Just sayin....

Cmon, if it was so hated why is it full of screaming happy kids all the time? Have you ever brought a kid there? It's a great place for young kids. It has a play area, some flats, a water area, character meet and greets, a rollercoaster, and a show. Maybe it's the most out of place area of the park, but to say everyone hates it is a stretch.

It was hated by virtually everyone, most pass members despised it when it opened, I'm sure a couple of pass members have gotten over it, but there's still a large amount of people who loathe it.

I'm not saying it's not a fun place, because I'm sure it is for the kids. I'm saying the reason people don't like it, is because it's a huge eyesore.

The outcry about FOF, was probably 5x bigger than the outcry about Entwined, which if you don't know is a lot.

I think what gets me a little, is that the Birthday Celebration for Nessie was pretty much an afterthought. For the 5th anniversary of their Kids Area they are making a big deal out of it. I have no animosity toward the kids area, but it is a bit of a shame.

Matthew I think your post is worded oddly and it seems somewhat deceiving. I would correct you statement to include that most pass holders and people you know hated it. For me, most pass holders and people I know loved it.

With that said, I am sure there are tons of families who are and are not pass members that love the area since it gives more for their children to do. Now I am sure that since children 4 and up (or something similar) have to pay a hefty price tag to get in that created some complaints, but then the Preschool Pass came out and covered some of that.

I for one think it is nice to see them celebrating it's anniversary. Perhaps they will do something special for Christmas Town's anniversary to considering it is now 5 years old as well.

I would wager to say a lot of pass holders and people you know hated it. In fact, a lot of the people I know where quite excited that Forest of Fun was coming to the park.

Umm, does anyone else see the contradiction in these two statements?

I'm not contradicting anything. All I am saying is people he knows feel a certain way and people I know feel a certain way. How is that contradicting? I used the word wager as in I am going to make a lucky guess that many people you know feel that way, whereas in my case there are a lot of people who feel differently.

If that's how you interpreted it, great.  I just thought it was funny how you would wager to say a lot of people hated it, then say most people didn't hate it.  I don't get it.  I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just having trouble understanding.

Okay, thanks! :p I was just confused.  Would you mind re-wording it, because I honestly do want to know what you were getting at.

I made an assumption based off of the information I had, and so did you. Once again PR, please don't judge then do the exact same thing. No need to start an argument about this, we both think different ways, I don't understand why you have to constantly disagree with me to start an argument, when you know it's just going to start commotion.

I was just saying I didn't like your way of wording it, I was not criticizing the actual information you had.

EDIT: I edited the original post of discussion to clearly illustrate my thoughts better.

Now think long and hard before you post any further. ;)

But you did...

Okay, now we can really end this conversation, no need to go any further.

I for one would love to see a giant Slimey squiggling through the area.
