From what sources tell me, these box structures will be used as the food stands for the festival, if you haven't figured that out yet. Furthermore after taking a close look at the two that are being built back stage (the one Zach shows and another one behind Sesame Street) it looks like they will be used in those spots rather than moved onto a pathway?

This event is getting more strange by the day.

No way they are leaving that thing backstage. It's built to sit on a different slant than the lot it's in.

Nah, they are moving all the glow stands where that cardboard hut is now.

Well it is pretty large to move, I mean I have seen them move some pretty big things, but this I just don't know. They even had to take T-Rex apart to move him and he was probably lighter and easier to move, along with all the other giant things.

Also, I feel as if the slat matches up with the lot's elevation, but then again I am terrible at construction work and guessing :p

EDIT: I can definitely say with confidence that the one in Italy is NOT a glow stand. Glow stands are for Illuminights, HOS, and CT. They don't even have the proper team member's trained yet :p

Team Members from the Games department get cash register training so they can use the register. Instead of training everybody at the beginning of the year like retail does, they wait until a week or so before the stand opens.

There is a lot that goes into working a cash register. Especially one that breaks down constantly every other hour.

Lift it up with a couple forklifts or crane and place it on a trailer and slowly drive it to it's new spot in the park.

Don't think anyone has posted this yet so...

I assume this will be the future location the Greek F&W booth. I wish they'd put some "Please pardon our mess as we prepare for the Busch Gardens Williamsburg Food & Wine Festival" signs up. All these half-finished things around the park look pretty awful to your average park guest who has no clue what's going on.
That looks worse than Alpenghost and David drunk fighting.

Nothing like that announced yet. It looks like you will purchase individual samplings at each kiosk. Disney does a pass. It's like ~$70 for a sampling ticket for a day right? I think that includes the food. Do you have to pay extra on top of that?

Speaking of the booths. Here are some of Disney's booths for comparison:

You're right cotnoutlaw: they should even place pictures of the food samples and info about the event at each "soon to be" location. Get the buzz started now ... Advertising should always be a priority for every new event.

Oh- if only the Greek booth could stay there forever. How I love Greek food. mmmmmmm.....

I cannot wait to see how they will be themed. I'm sure something will be added by the time the food & wine festival rolls around.
