When I was going home from work today I seen an ad for the F&WF on one of those electronic billboards. It was in Chesapeake. It kind of took me by surprise seeing it but then I thought it was good that it's being advertised.

Just remember if you look up and see Octopus vines, you're at a F&WF booth.

By the way, yesterday I saw they had a big Bill-board up on VB Blvd, for the F&WF.

I honestly think the vines help to provided a cohesive theme to the event, and I think they do add some class to the event. They are much more classier and nicer than tinsel.

Does anyone understand the pumpkins? No one in my tour group could figure out what they had to do with Canada.

Some booths are actual regular snack stands converted into a F&WF booth. The Scotland booth, half of the Scandinavia booth, the Crepes & Coffee booth, the Canada booth, the Belgium booth, the Italy booth, the Greece booth are all actual permanent structures that are regular snack stands for the most part.

Also just a note, while the Crepes & Coffee stand is permanent the menu does change for the festival and they do add other types of crepes.

The barrels are now permanent, they were all over earlier this spring, and they don't look anything like the F&WF barrels. I think they got added in recent years.
