The queue video has returned! They are using the old fun TVs. The old CRTs are still hanging dorment.
My phone is unable to get a photo of the TVs.View attachment 44056View attachment 44057
This is incredible! I’ve been hoping this would happen for literally more than a decade. Huge props to KD for making it happen.

I know they revamped the queue area the other year ago, but I wish they'd do something about the A/C - it gets kinda swampy in there. Otherwise, huge props to getting the original queue videos going again, even if the area is now technically JX and not its own thing.

Do we really think this ride will be done before 2029 at this point, pending any large-scale failure?

80 minute wait for it at 6 tonight. Thankfully I have the single use fast lane with my prestige pass. Park was super buy (I heard 19k people) and the Prestige lot was full. Anyhow, the lights are on in there and it’s hard to tell in the video but definitely fun being able to see everything in there.

19k people at KD is considered busy?

If thats true then 19k is half capacity which I wouldnt think is that bad. Thats just a normal day it sounds like

The max number of tickets the purchasing portal will sell in a day is 30,000. That means that if the statistic of 19,000 people is true, the park was over half capacity.
That 30k ticket limit assumes there will be an unpredictable amount of passholders who visit on any given day too though right? So technically capacity would in fact be well beyond 30k, but still great to see a good turnout, with both FoF and Grizzly getting some love from park goers. Hopefully that continues, and the lights on month keeps FoF strong (and not just the first few days then lines fizzle out).

The beginning of August always sees an uptick in attendance that’s fairly noticeable right before school starts black up. One factor I thought was important each year is that when the next year’s passes go on sale, you get an uptick in new customers who purchase for the first time, but 2027 still isn’t on sale yet for KD, so that wasn’t the case yesterday. Does anyone know what typical attendance numbers look like for Haunt, compared to yesterday?

Somewhere between 30-50k apparently but those days are long gone. I’d be curious to even know the last time the park had 35k people in there.
last time BGW managed to hit that high of a number was Howl O Scream back in 2018/2019. The highest in park number ever recorded was hit that day (and I was one of the idiots that went), which was 39,998.

Honestly, for a regional park like KD, 19,000 is pretty busy. Regional parks don’t regularly see those 25k plus days like Disney and universal do. They see those days more often during just holidays. A 20k+ day is considered normal/average crowds for Disney and Universal.
