Ok but with the rumored transportation of Joker’s Jinx trains heading KD’s way, it should have added longevity to the ride, especially given it’s been on the chopping block before. If something was seriously wrong then I feel like they would have shipped them to KI or SFFT instead.

Seen headed south on 95 which would likely be the case if headed to Texas. Also remember the ride was somewhat redesigned after the two flight of fear prototypes it's never been clear if the original can run yhe same trains.

I guess I’m about to say something controversial (again):

I wouldn’t be upset if FoF went away. The theme and building now sick out as a sore thumb ruining the immersive feeling of Jungle X. I love the ride, but there’s enough experiences missing from KD (and more that area) which could fit in.

IMO Jungle X needs more flats, KD needs a sim ride, and that little BLSC and FoF corner is likely next up for refurb so it wouldn’t be a bad timeline to do it.

This 100% is me just playing RCT in my head and is in no way, shape, or form realistic, but if they were hellbent on keeping the coaster, I'd lose the building altogether and have the coaster exposed like Poltergeist / Joker's Jinx and build up some jungle theming around it.

Honestly, though, makes much more sense to just eliminate it at this point.

I do think that the redesign would mean they would not be able to run JJ trains fully on FoF. I assume either way, whichever park gets them is using them for spare parts for the parts of the ride that are interchangeable.

I love FoF but I unfortunately agree. I do think with two major aging and wrongly themed premier launch coasters in the same area, that one of them will be lucky enough to be rethemed down the road while the other will see its demise. Some sort of tracked dark ride in the FoF building would be amazing, and be more marketable than FoF. Survey's indicated a retheme of Boo Blasters, but how great would it be to have a Jungle and/or temple themed dark ride in FoF's building. I could also see the building being gutted for a brand new immersive temple Haunt maze akin to Ghost in the Machine, but it would stink only being utilized for seasonal activities and really cut Pantherian off from the park, unless they put a flat ride in Anaconda's only plot.

Either way if we have to say goodbye to FoF, I would hope it doesn't just die the way Anaconda did without warning. Give us a final lap on the ride, and also have a plan in place to replace it with something.

I think FoF is dead, and hot take, good riddance. Never loved FoF. And knowing CF/SF, it's probably already gone with no final lap.
I hope personally for an invert, be it family invert or something. One of those dueling sit-down/invert coasters could be cool. An invert themed to, idk, a monkey swinging between branches or something could be cool. Maybe an S&S Axis? So long as it's not a B&M I think an invert would be perfect- the park would have one of everything by that point. Wing, giga, wood, racing, launch, 4D, floorless, family, kiddie. Add in an invert, which we haven't had in over half a decade, pay a little tribute to Volcano, and you've got one of the best coaster lineups in the world

Honestly, not a hot take with me. The midcourse brake always ruined it for me. Joker's Jinx (RIP) was the superior mid-Atlantic spaghetti bowl coaster.
Also just very rough and I didn't love the layout. Wonderfully themed queue (didn't fit Jungle-X, but hey, theming is theming and we'll take it) but the ride itself felt very mid. Jinx was smooth and no midcourse, so I prefer Jinx. I'd even say just drop Jinx into the FoF building which shouldn't take a ton of structural modifications aside from lifting off the roof to remove/install the rides and it's overall an immediately better experience. But tear out the whole thing and you've got it even better

FoF is quite popular with guests, even if enthusiasts nit pick it. This isn't as simple as taking out Anaconda, which had only minimal love.

IMO if the spaghetti bowl is still in good shape, put in a new launch system and trains. That's way cheaper than doing a whole new ride in that area and dealing with the expectations of sufficiently replacing FoF.

The park could easily incorporate FOF into the jungle theme. A secret military operation in the middle of the jungle isn't really THAT far-fetched is it? All they'd really need to do is cover the entrance building in vines or something to help disguise the military operation going on inside. Its way easier to incorporate FOF into Jungle X than Stunt Coaster at least.

I'm in the minority here but I don't mind the midcourse at all. I like feeling like you're about to slip out of the train.

The public seems to enjoy the ride a lot too. Its a nice break when its hot or cold outside. I don't like how the ride can't run in thunderstorms and I'm not a fan of the capacity but the lines aren't terrible for it most days.

I love how janky the ride feels. Something about those 90s coasters that hits different from most coasters nowadays. It doesn't hurt that my partner loves the ride too. He'd be upset if it ever went away.

It's better when it's jerky... Joker's Jinx was smooth but like that kind of took away from the fun. Plus, I feel that Flight's launch is way better than Joker's.

The mid course coincides with the sound effects and creates that pause to let you take in the experience. That would be lost if it wasn't there.

I assume I can share this but the park has 30th anniversary merch for FoF that’s being sold this season. Don’t think it’s going away anytime soon.
WHAT?!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! HELL TO THE YES!!!!!!
Edit: Glad we're finally actually getting merch... Very excited especially since they had so little previously.
