my favorite maze was split between masquerage and the 2nd year of wicked woods.
favorite show was def the ORIGINAL monster stomp in the canadian palladium satge.
best scare zone ever was sea dog cemetary.

cannot wait for the website for this year to be put up! :)

it will be my first also! we feel the kids are old enough to handle it this year (one is 13 the other is 8). my 8 year old is not scared of anything, she would spit in the devil's face, so I am hoping that will carry over with Howl-O-Scream. I was showing her videos of past years on youtube and she said to me "Oh Mommy, those are just people in masks", so I think she will do fine :shy:

My all time fave was sea dog cemetery:) that scarezone at the entrance/exit of the park used to scare the living friggin daylights out of me when i was a kid. they should most def bring back that haunted house and put a scarezone back at the park entrance!

I have to agree with you, that really was a good haunted house..

My favorite HoS attraction of all time is a tie between Nightmare Express and Werewolf Reserve. Nightmare Express is a massive effort from the park that delivered the best overall experience without it getting overly complicated or scary. Werewolf Reserve has a soft spot in my heart because wolves are my favorite animal and I'm a Werewolf fan all the way so in my mind it was the perfect scare zone based on scares, theme, and it having the perfect location.

Either one returning to HoS would be a dream come true, but deep in my heart is a pit of anger knowing it will never happen.:(

Bump. For CK.

I really like Nightmare Express, too. Especially the horse and carriage chasing the train near the end. Jack jumping up and down on his bed was weird. I like the queue line into the old Eagle Nest area where cast hidden in the crates would bang open a door to scare you. The troll (when it moved and talked) lived here, also.

Yeah, Werewolf Reserve was awesome! We could sit there and watch just that all night. And often did.

Speaking of clowns, we thought Last Laugh Industries 2007 was pretty cool. It had 3D glasses with the florescent colors. The end had those BIG high dollar still clowns. When quality mattered. It must have been around in some form for a while. We have glasses from 2004.

I always did wonder what happened to those old Clown/circus props. They had so many. I have a feeling they were just tossed out eventually, or were so poorly kept that they became a health/safety hazard and were tossed.

And I think they still do have the lights, But I think they're more focused on the walls at this point, rather than the floor. (I also feel like I should know where that monster head thing was. I remember where it was on the train. But I can't remember if/where the park had it originally.)

And I have to say my favorite Howl-o-Scream attraction was probably Never After and Deadtime Stories. (I believe those there the names.) They were the two houses in Festhaus Park, before Bitten and Hunted.
