I worry, as others have previously alluded to on this forum, that this will just be looked at as "Soarin's cheaper little sister" by visitors, discouraging PRKS from investing in more similar rides. I hope I'm wrong because this is a much needed addition at basically every park in the chain, but I'll have that worry for a while.

I’m not sure about yall but i’ll take high quality LIVE ACTION footage over any soarin cgi any day. I’m really hoping PRKS can go over the bare minimum on this ride. The footage seen in the teaser looks pretty cool so I have my hopes up.

Also i find it so cool that they can shoot this stuff on drones now. For soarin they had to lug IMAX cameras on helicopters so this is a great example of modern tech making things easier and cheaper for ride development.

Counterpoint: Nobody needed Europe in the Air.

Well, they have the ability to make 5K cameras now that are smaller and easier for a good sized drone to fly, but I don't think an IMAX quality camera has been shrunk enough and light enough for a drone just yet...

The park needs a few flat rides for non coaster visitors and indoor attractions including a fish themed bumper cars, a covered demolition derby and a wave swinger.

I plan on heading to the park some time this week for an update. The downside is that there really isn't anything to see as everything is indoors and fully closed up.
Make sure to check out if Chick Fill A opened also. Make sure you dont go on Sunday. LOL!

the entire wild arctic building is currently closed... the gift shop was being packed up for refurbishment... hopefully this means work on animal habitat too... the queue area was being repainted too. getting closer.

How does this attraction still not have a name announced...? Is it actually still on track to open this year...?

This should be a major new attraction for the chain this year, no? Shouldn't we be hearing SOMETHING about it?
I'm guessing it will open during the later half of the year. Maybe around labor day?
