Speaking of which, on Instagram, they posted a TBT photo of Corkscrew Hill. And there are 120 comments that say "Bring Back Corkscrew Hill!" I'm begging the park to listen to the GP, and reinstall Corkscrew Hill, but there is no way that it is going to make this quick of a comeback, if it's making a comeback at all.

I am actually very interested to see how they cover EitA during Christmas Town. Will they have completely removed all signage and theming outside as if nothing ever existed there? Will it look like Howl-o-Scream and the main signage is covered up by a black sheet? Who knows until the weekend.

Why move the sign now? Is something changing??

Why yes, the signage covering the Corkscrew Hill signage was for 13: Your Number's Up and that attraction isn't open during Christmas Town thus new Christmas Town signage should be added.

If it's still there Thursday then we'll talk. But if Corkscrew Hill were to be making a comeback again, 3 weeks would not be enough time for them to do it, that's not even including taking down 13, so it's pretty impossible.

If something was opening there, they would have announced it. If it was Europe in the Air, it would have been on the map. If it was Corkscrew Hill, they would have announced it to much fanfair and people would have been ecstatic. Neither happened.

Last year they had the "Freakenstien Castle" and Fiends signage up the day before Christmas Town started. Signage was switched the early early morning before Christmas Town opened. Nothing is set in stone until they open.

Did I say that it would be set in stone? No, I said that if it's there Thursday then I might consider the possibility. I know they can make changes the day ChristmasTown starts.

Here's what I want to know...

During HOS, an eyeball rose HOS sign was there. One day, one side of the HOS sign disappeared and the EITA sign was clearly visible. According to a conversation I had with a knowledgeable TM, the Corkscrew sign was under the EITA sign under the HOS sign. So again, what gives? Why move the EITA sign now? Accident....decision...we wants to know!!

It may be because they removed EITA permanently.(just pointing out possibilities, not meant to take literally) But that doesn't mean they are going to keep Corkscrew Hill. However, you may be on to something, because if they are going to remove the EITA sign permanently, then why aren't they removing the Corkscrew Hill sign too?(again pure speculation for those of you who can't tell the difference)

It's mostly a matter of switching up the main hard drives and lighting. The entire ride(Pre-Show,Film,motion-programming, etc.) was only about 16 gigabytes. That's hardly anything to today's standards. All of this, of course, is assuming they kept them.

Maybe they want to use the corkscrew hill sign to put the cover for whatever new is going there.

Honestly I would not pay any attention to the Corkscrew Hill sign at all, the only reason it is still there is because it is cheaper to cover it up than to replace it for a Europe in the Air sign.

I expect that they did not finish setting up for CT on time as usual. Take tons of salt with that sign.

Corkscrew Hill was well recieved with the park, and its removal was a mistake, its replacement was a hackjob. From what I gathered, they removed CH due to the Griffon scene, saying it was too like Griffon...Which I find BS. It always had a crowd and fit the area well enough.EitA is crappy with theming and thrills, and it offers no more than a quick escape from the heat during summer. If anything, bring it back in 2016, during the 15th anniversary of Killarney opening up. Nostalgia= Good Memories. Good memories=Return Customers. Return Customers = More money. More money= better events, such as Howloscream and Christmas Town.

For what it is worth, I don't think either of them was all that memorable, and I certainly would not say that Corkscrew Hill was remarkably better that EiTA. They were both adequate and inoffensive. Older really isn't intrinsically better.

Eh... :p

I honestly believe vanilla 4D and 5D theaters have no place in theme parks- especially theme parks of Busch Garden's caliber. Give me a hammer and I'll start taking the ride system out for them.
