Is it not open on weekdays? It says Pompeii is open on the website as well as le scoot but neither were open today and it looked like the pool on Pompeii wasn't totally filled up.

I wouldn't describe it quite as pitch black but many the lights were definitely off Saturday as well. Honestly I kinda liked it better that way as it had more of the active dig site feel to it.

Pompeii seemed like it was planning on opening today but it never did because of technical difficulties. Around 4 it looked like they were shutting off the water.

It was open on and off through out the day. It was up and running with a long line shortly before the storm hit.

I love the remote control boats at the entrance to the Escape from Pompeii. You can send the little boats through the volcano and it "erupts". Joey and I actually got to hold them. Total fan boy moments.
