That wood looks bright and freshly cut. not weathered at all. When do you think it will catch fire?
Bold of you to assume it isn't burning as we speak.
I was walking by and there were some maintenance personnel standing near the ride exit, so I asked the question: Did they repaint the basin? The answer is: yes to get it ready for Christmastown. The deeper blue should help the blue lights standout more.
I should have been clear before. That paint color is Carl Lum Blue. We included it in an update a few years ago.
Wow that water looks so great right now! Cant believe they keep the water running this late into fall! /s
Here’s a nifty image showing the floor plan thanks to @Zachary.
Something to keep an eye on, water has been partially drained and the tarps have been removed from the queue. Down all day. Anyone have any idea as to why?
I don't think it's been open yet this season. Typically it doesn't open with the season but they wait until it's warmer. The same thing with Roman rapids.
True, guess it's an overreaction, but the Tarp being off the queue is what's getting me a little concerned.
Most likely it's just part of the process of ensuring everything is ready. Could be that it's getting replaced or repaired because it goes damaged recently
maybe there replacing the tarp and repainting the station area
