RE: Entwined: Tales of Good and Grimm (2012 to Present)

No, it's returning. That's confirmed news.

Entwined is returning to Das Festhaus in 2013. That, however, is not the news.

They made the dialogue be in German!?

I'll try to be optimistic about this. For me it's just natural to be excited over a new production at the park. I have a few guesses as to what "surprises" are in store, I just don't want to set my expectations too high just yet...
I would be very happy if they added a new German show somewhere in Oktoberfest. Does anyone think that's likely?

Redo the Gaudy costumes (Less sparkle, no mascots... I'm looking at you bears and wolf) and take out some of the broadway songs/jazz breakdowns and You've already improved it an immeasurable amount imo.

I wish that they would have more Maypole. They have for a couple of months (When park opens to beginning of Illuminights). They should make it a regular show during Illuminights during the day, then have clocktoberfest at night. (If they brought it back.)

Absolutely not.

RE: Entwined: Tales of Good and Grimm (2012 to Present)

I've got some surprising news about shows this year. First when the park goes to 7 days a week his year, each show will have 1 day off per week to save money and to save the expense of hiring extra musicians/singers to give the main cast 1 day off per week.

Now the big news. Busch knows Entwined was a bomb. But they have to run Entwined again to justify the money that went into it. But Busch has plans to ressurect the previously scrapped show "Roll out the Barrel," which was an updated Oktoberfest show. The plan is to run Entwined at the Festhaus early in the day for kids and run the new show later in the day for adults. Of course, with Busch this is always subject to change, now, next week, anytime up untill opening day, and even after opening day.

Thank you very much for the info glissade13!

I can confirm. Current plan is to have two shows running in Das Festhaus for 2013. Entwined in the morning and Roll Out the Barrel/This is Oktoberfest in the evening. I'm not 100% on the name of the second show. I've been told that the vast majority of work and budget is going into the new show.

Anyway, instead of flooding this thread, I've created a new thread about the new show here. Please use it instead of discussing the new show here.

I guess those would be weekdays?

I guess I sympathize with that line of thinking, but if you know something doesn't work and people generally dislike it scrap it, cut your losses and call it a learning experience. Salvage your reputation and show some pride. If nothing else they have the gingerbread men for Christmas Town.

This would ruin my lunch schedule...seriously!

I liked the show. Kids loved it, but it can improved. Also, the cast is really talented.
