Not saying they will or should, but if they knock down the old ticket booths I'm guessing they can also repurpose, reconfigure, or upgrade the existing utilities in the area. It's also quite possible the infrastructure is already available in the area with a little bit of renovation work to surface it.

They possibly could also do something with the tram stop that takes care of the Scotland and Bavaria lots.

Adding a few more, and new self serve kiosk machines to replace the old ones would be a big help. The only nice thing about the current Zone B machines is you can clearly see the entire section of the machines and how crowded they are when you get off at the main tram stop. Renovating and reusing the existing booths could be done. Something that could work is keeping the exiting queue line and then put up a light that turns green (like Walmart has done) to show that the booth/machine is open and the next person in line goes to that booth. And like was mentioned a reconfiguration of the area would improve traffic flow.

The new kiosks inside the park never work for me. How can they not get functional kiosks inside the gate?

New kiosks installed. unfortunately I couldn't get the new ones to find my pass
I had no issues just a few minutes ago with the new kiosks. It took a bit longer for it to find my membership, but I had no problem redeeming my platinum membership rewards. It’s a bit different in how it shows the releases, but you can also now see what you’ve already redeemed too!

It’s a lot quicker to scan my barcode too!

Spoke to Kevin and the IT MANAGEMENT. the park will eventually remove all the old self kiosks and replace them with these new in-wall kiosks. We did show them the kiosks are not perfect yet. And need to be tweaked a bit more. Also we suggested that they try adding 2 in England parking lot.

Did you suggest they stop requiring people to use them to redeem some/most of the rewards in the first place?

I saw that too. New kiosk was very slow. You can tell it's accessing the internet. Also that type touchscreen never seems to last. Give me an old school keyboard.

The two old kiosks are still up front, but one would not recognize the pass number I typed in. The whole concept is stupid and unnecessary. They have the capability to load directly to passes, as seen by the member beer promotion.

The kiosks worked ok yesterday getting my benefits. Finding my pass is still slow but all the benefits are displayed clearly on the screen and it even shows previous benefits used for the month. I tried using a kiosk as well and while it was ok getting one pass's benefits, I couldn't get the second pass to load so I had to cancel the order and rescan my initial pass. The touch screens weren't working properly either making the process that much slower.

I expect a few bugs with the new system but hopefully it eventually works better than the old kiosks. The ones at the park entrance are in awful shape.

Honestly, I couldn't believe the ones by the gate have been like they are for years. I don't remember if the frame was in-house or contracted out, but I know the equipment on the inside was sitting on shelves with holes cut for access, and not screwed into place either.

I've always thought that the company could have had something with better presentation, especially for guest-facing equipment....

The new one are terrible. Went again today. Super slow and didn't find half of my passes. Plus they print a receipt ticket which is even more waste. Which is ridiculous when you consider they charge $5 to reprint a pass from a kiosk.

per guests services today. Some older accounts usd a pass number system that is different from the current system. The new kiosk have a hard time recognizing it. Tech is working on a fix but Supposedly going to guests services and getting them to reprint the pass will update it's number to the current format and fix your issues. I have not tried mine with the new pass number so I can not verify that it does fix the issue.

Wonder if they are planning another entry revamp? Seems to be United Parks MO lately
Not just united but a lot of the old Cedar Fair ones have gotten that in recent years. I think that there issue that make BGW harder is the two approach points. Logically security more or less needs to be at the bottom of the hill so that there is only one security point to man.
