OLD FORGE — One of the Adirondack’s most iconic attractions, Water Safari Resort, was sold to a Florida-based hospitality company, ending nearly five decades of ownership by the Noonan family.
Innovative Attraction Management bought the resort’s properties, including Enchanted Forest Water Safari, Calypso’s Cove, Old Forge Camping Resort and Water’s Edge Inn on March 1, according to a news release. The price was not disclosed.
Whoa. If this is true, Six Flags is essentially creating a mini Six Flags company by selling off all these parks. This looks like a sale of parks to Innovative Attraction Management. Some of the new trademark names are for the parks in Old Forge, NY that were purchased in 2024.

None of these parks really create any synergies with other SF properties, so this makes sense if they can focus on more core assets. Even if this were creating a wholly owned subsidiary, it's likely to better temper expectations on the product line across the chain.Whoa. The trademark might be hidden or not filed yet. I doubt they sell the water park but keep the main park.Noticed how Oceans of Fun is on there but not Worlds of Fun. That kinda has me a bit concerned ngl
