I was there on the 11th as well and saw them walking around on the land where Drachen Fire was and pointing at things at about 11 AM. Couldn't tell if any were zoo team members but they were all definitely higher ups, or at the very least looked the part (2 in full suits minus jacket, a lady in office dress, and a few other guys in polo shirts with a small outline of Virginia and some wording on the upper left breast).

I think this info is best moved to the "Future Park Plans" thread or the "Resort Hotel" thread.

Are you talking about the building across from flume's entrance? They won't get rid of that as it is an office for park operations... I accidentally walked in there one by mistake

Park Ops has a main office by the employee entrance which I am sure is big enough to hold whatever they need for park ops offices. I doubt they would keep it if all it is, is just offices and is just for looks.

If they can find a way to turn that space into profit, they will.

Each country area has a management team and office in that area with that office serving the France/new France park ops area.

Well the Moose Lodge building has long been rumored to be on the chopping block so that gives them another good chunk of land. If they push the fence back some more past the current Eagle's Nest area (which there is plenty of room to do) and replace the Moose Lodge building, there should be more than enough room.
You would also need to rework the exit for the train that goes between the eagles nest and the moose lodge.

Firstly, yeas I understand each country has their own "headquarters" so to speak, but like I said, "If they can find a way to make a space money, they will." They can always relocate those offices into a small storage shed in a back area. After all, I know they have tons of those.

Secondly, the train exit is not that huge of a deal, seeing how the exit is a path the goes straight down along the closed Eagles Nest and the goes around past the Moose Lodge offices. It is pretty much a mostly curved path away from the main area of work they'd be doing. Plus there is always another exit on the other side of the station.

If anyone is interested to know, as of October 6th, on the park map, the smoking section icon has been blocked out by a black square by the Caribou Train Station. Suspicious?

That smoking area has been removed for a few years... I have seen people telling smokers they cannot smoke there constantly... they really should just put a big red sign up that says "This is NOT a smoking area"

Where on the map? I just pulled out one of my illuminights maps from july and it does not have the smoking symbol where the old smoking area was

If you look on 2012 Howl-o-Scream maps, a smoking area icon is depicted right next to the Caribou Station with the exception of Oct. 6th and onward.

Perhaps having that area as a designated smoking area is very up and down. Perhaps they change it frequently and can't make up their minds.

My guess would be that that was a glitch when they were printing them... I saw it last night... It was blacked out of the map... and they have shut down that smoking area for good, I doubt they would re-open it
