My favorite Eagle Owl was keeping an eye out for Fiends walking around as well as watching the new PLINKO game...

The brown eagle in the rotating exhibit beside lorikeet glen was in the only tiny area of sunlight in his habitat when I went by yesterday, I suppose they do it for warmth on a cold day such as it was yesterday.
 
Another reminder of how much these animals matter to some of us.

I was happy to see there are four eagles this year. I thought there were only two when we were there in early June. Of course that means two more were injured, but it also means those two are able to bring families close to the animal, too.

They have had the same 4 for asbelong as I can remember. They also have a 5th that is flight capable and house separate from these guys they bring him out on a glove and do demonstrations with him.
