Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but I may not be going to Busch Today after all. Went to purchase a new Platinum Membership and get an error and was double charged :) “please try again later” and taking $84.48 from my account, even if it could be temporary, is insane.

It might be iOS blocking a required domain, I’ve found that I’ve had to disable both content blockers and “Reduce Privacy Protections” for some online transactions to go through.
 
That’s not it - I’ve got those off, thank you though! I waited on hold and they told me I needed to pay a past due amount of $72 in order to buy another one lol. I escalated this to a supervisor. None of it makes sense at all. I don’t have a past due amount, I don’t have an active pass, I met my 12 month commitment (stayed for 2+ years with a San Diego platinum pass - which is the order # ending in 8535) and cancelled over the phone. I even have email verification. The most recent order numbers were for Burgermeisters Hideaway and for a single day unlimited meal voucher.

I was simply calling just to buy one over the phone and they won’t even sell me one, I have to do it online, which doesn’t work and holds an insane amount of money just for trying.

He kept referring me to my “past due” account where in fact, I don’t have a pass or a past due amount. Ugh!

I created a new account and purchased it with the same card/phone and it worked just fine. I’ll edit this post once the supervisor calls and provide an update for those curious.

Off to Busch Gardens!

EDIT: Customer service was wonderful in addressing the owed balance. They called customer service themselves and took care of it. I’m stuck with the pending charges for now but hey, it is what it is.
