I rode Drachen I and Drachen II. She was a rough one, but arn't all arrows? Oh yeah, and she did look amazing as you approached her. That was some crazy lines that thing took.

It was actually me that made it. I did it from scratch but figured that if B&M had been able to deliver two coasters, they would have had similar elements. I think the fact that DF had an inversion in the middle of the first drop indicates that the concept presented by B&M for both rides was a loop over the lift hill. I made it so it fit into a footprint that was actually smaller than the real DF and it is about 4 seconds shorter than the real DF.
But, if you know the layout, or watch a video of Kumba, you'll see that the elements are in the same sequence.

Had b&m made it at the same time they could be as similar as griffon and sheikra. If they made it today, it would most likely have a different layout, like Time Machine or Hydra, the revenge. btw, the first inversion is stupid on hydra, looks straight out of rct.
one more thing is that I think that this ride, whatever it may be, will most likely offer a new train design, as parks often try to get diversity in this matter. i.e. flying or stand-up. If they do get a flying coaster, I hope that they man up and find a way to get normal inversions in flyers, enough of those stupid upside-down loops.
Other than twists and rolls, the only inversions that they have are these loops that start at the top, flip over, dive(so that your stomach is on the inside of the loop, then twist again at the top. The reason, they say, is to keep "dangerous forces" off of the riders' chest.robbie1104 said:Fur Dozy said:Chris said:Fur Dozy said:this is just a modified version of Kumba. I've never been on a flying coaster, so I don't know anything about the inversions. I hope to change that this summer as my oldest daughter is now tall enough to ride them. I'm going to try to hit the Superman down here at Six Flags Over Georgia. She's counting the days till we come up there and get to Busch Gardens in early June and she can ride the Griffon and Alpengiest for the first time.
