When the sun goes down, the fun is just getting started. Experience Dinosaurs Alive! in a whole new way as you walk amongst more than 40 life size dinosaurs in the dark of the night. This unique experience features a guided flashlight tour along the dino trail. At the end of the tour, hand in your flashlight for a sweet s’mores treat!

Dinos After Dark! is every Saturday from July 12 through August 2 from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Price: $6 per person or $4 for passholders

I would really like to do this, but I'm not going to KD on a Saturday. This does give me some hope of maybe an up charge thing during Haunt, that area would be insane for scares at night.

My problem is why should I pay if I can go during the day for free with my pass minus s'mores and a tour. But then again some people are into this type of event...

Here is the Trick-Or-Treat With The Dinosaurs information.

Trick-or-Treat from Dinosaur to Dinosaur in the dinosaur park that roars in Dinosaurs Alive! at Kings Dominion. This is not your average trick-or-treat. There are several stops along the path in the 6-acre dinosaur park where you can collect a goodie bag full of treats that would make even a T-rex jealous. Plus, there are more than 39 life-sized, moving dinosaurs. Families will remember this fun and unique experience for years to come!

Trick-or-Treat with the Dinosaurs is open every Saturday and Sunday starting September 27 through November 2 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.

Trick-or-Treat with the Dinosaurs is only $5 with park admission and $3 for season passholders.

I do too. It's not exactly a marvel of cohesive theming (unless dinosaurs existed in Virginia in the early 1900's?), but the attraction itself is well done. It's a lovely stroll through the woods with dinosaurs. Plus, with the close proximity of Grizzly and the Kings Dominion Theatre, it doesn't really sit on prime real estate.

It's tough for me. My Daughter loves it and wants to go in on each trip. I'd personally rather see something else there. Dinos was good the 1st 5 times I went through. It has run it's course for me now.

What exactly is the difference between this and walking through during the day? Other than it being dark and you have to pay.

Last year it was a guided tour, and each person was given a flashlight during the tour and s'mores at the end. I would assume this year's event would be similar.
