So why is this thing going to be around for 2013? Hopefully the popularity dies down soon so they can remove those dinos, like they even work half the time anyways :\

I haven't gone to dinosaurs alive but I would like to ask, is it worth the five dollars to get in?

I went and was not worth $5 to me. I went at the beginning of the year and only one dino was having troubles with the sensor. The highlight of the walk through was being able to control the movements. Now that sounds lame, but it was my highlight because when I clicked the voice button there was about three 5-7 year old's in front of it not seeing me and I scared the crap out of them. I'm cruel, but it was funny.

I loved this, the only complaint I had was there were more herbivores than carnivores. Also, the motion sensor took a little bit to figure out how to trip.

How did it ruin Grizzly? The only part where you can see the dinos are during the first drop. Besides, the thing is so rough these days that it's not like you can actually focus enough to see the dinos.

It took away Grizzly's entrance but, on second thought, maybe it's doing park guests a favor by hiding it from them...

It got rid of that "isolated"feel you used to get. However, that may also have been windseeker's fault.

I believe they have this at all the Cedar Fair (or Cedar Point? I can never remember.) parks. Although I could be wrong because Dorney Park is the only other Cedar Fair park I've been to.

From Kings Dominion's Facebook

This makes me very happy, it's good to see KD giving more perks to their pass memebers.

Can anyone confirm if the Dinosaur movie will be playing at the park this year? I couldn't find it on the park's website.

The movie is now "The Lost World 3d".

I believe I already gave the show a dedicated thread in the operating attractions section.

EDIT: There is: http://forum.parkfans.net/thread-3162.html

The Dinosaurs Alive webpage has been majorly changed! Clicking the "Dinosaurs Alive" link under the "Things To Do" menu on the park's website no longer redirects you to a separate website just for Dinosaurs Alive. The old website was full of animations and really was a website all in its own. The new page is much like the rest of the park's site, but with a different background. This was a much-needed change. The site is now much more navigable and keeps you on Kings Dominion's page. I like it.
