The park was definitely not “pretty empty,” the entire front half of the parking lot was full and the back half was starting to fill up. Definitely the most crowded I’ve seen it for preview day.

I agree, I also noticed how many cars were in the lot. When I walked in International Street I didn't think it was very crowded, but then when I went to walk through Planet Snoopy it was very busy - so I guess everyone decided it was a nice day to take the little squirts to KD, so maybe that's where the crowd was stacked.

Well, we skipped that area so maybe thats where everyone was. Ive also seen where there were both BGW or KD seemed to have a larger crowd in one section of the park that seemed to move about the park throughout the day so its entirely possible I was just always in the right area at the right times.

Hopefully they have most if not all of their available units on the tracks today instead of like what happened last weekend.

Two years in a row this particular Passholder Ride Night has been afflicted by weather. Last year a huge rainstorm came in about 30 minutes before the end of the event and everyone fled.

(And then the complaints on social media came in)

Except there was only a paltry chance of rain at 8 PM. Seems silly. Also they should have rescheduled it to next Friday or some other date.

We were driving from NOVA to VB yesterday, and got flash flood warnings on our phones all of the way. They started at 4:30 and lasted until 9:00. I think it was completely reasonable to cancel all outdoor events.

I imagine the weather forecast for the next week give or take had an effect on the crowds for today. It's supposed to rain the next 5 days straight or something like that.

Weather is beautiful, low humidity, flirting in the 80s, also the first day in a while that hasn't been threatened by some sort of weather in the area.
