No surprise, great so far. Light rain. I305 did go down a while when it was raining harder but was back up last I saw. Ricochet (RMC construction viewing ride) may be up by now. North RY is torn up for trackwork but 1 train 1 side is sufficing so far.

Absolute ghost town on a clear afternoon during spring break? That... doesn't bode particularly well.

Decent crowd ... Drop zone was down the whole time I was there and Twisted timbers has been down most of the afternoon.. I'm pretty sure they will be only running one train for the rest of the day...(if it even stays open). They took the blue train off line & where grinding down something near the back break/wheel area of the train..

Twisted Timbers was having issues the whole day, which exacerbated its wait time. It seemed like they were having issues with the restraints in the second row on the blue train. It continued to be a problem for them throughout the morning and early afternoon. Ride attendants also became extremely sensitive to riders only buckling in and allowing just the attendants to lower the lap bars.

Crowds were pretty decent. Flight of Fear had a pretty decent wait, probably in part due to being an indoor attraction that provided relief from the unexpected heat. Volcano was predictably backed up, especially since it was down for a while in the afternoon. Intimidator 305 was still probably a 5 minute wait at worst, though.

This seems like the best place to post this. Heads up if you are planning on coming to ride night. TT went down around 12 and has not come back up yet. Staff are saying it MIGHT not reopen today. I will update if it comes back up.

I went today, as I had the day off and figured I'd ride some rides on a Friday while school was still in session. Big mistake! There was a music festival going on and the park had about 50,000 middle schoolers running around. I rode a few rides (TT was down the whole time I was there, it took me 30 min to ride Grizzly!), ate some food at the festival (The grilled watermelon is killer) and headed home. I probably wouldn't have stayed that much longer, as it was killer hot out too!

The park was in bad shape today... the husband and I went for our annual trip and were pretty disappointed. The school groups were out of control. There were sooooo many in the park. A lot of the rides were closed and most were running at limited capacity. Anaconda had one car on the track. I305 was also running one car. Dominator had issues all day, volcano wasn’t even running, flight of fear was closed for 2 hours because staff was on break (wtf...), they were only filling windseeker 1/3 full at a time, and twisted Timbers was only running one car when open. Evidently there was an issue with Steel Vengence this past weekend when 2 cars were running, so until the issue is resolved TT will only run one car.

Very disappointed in KD today. Why run limited cars on I305 when it is so crowded and why so many issues on a busy day.... I hope this was just an isolated occurrence. Definitely made my annual trip disappointing.

TT is running but with only one train.

Was down most of the day.. I'm not even getting in line anymore unless they are running 2 trains or if the line isn't past the steps ... Just not worth it unless u have a speed pass .. Ride seems to be down more then it's up right now..

Fan appreciation night seemed to be a bust.. Was very disappointed that they closed down all the restaurants.. They should of let season holders use the meal plan at the taste of Virginia or at least allow a decent discount ..(since they closed everything ells)..

Please only post about current, observed crowd levels in this thread.

Who cares what the crowd levels are if everything is down? Just my opinion, but I rather know the ride's wait time & what rides are down, then how many people are at the park.

First off, I was speaking in general, not to you specifically.

Second, this thread has a very specific purpose. Feel free to comment about the rides being down elsewhere.

I'll just leave this thread/website since my post are being deleted now anyway. (Sorry for having an opinion & trying to make suggestions)

No one objected to your having an opinion. All I did was ask everyone to limit their comments in this thread to their observations about crowd levels, which is its specific purpose.

While I honestly don’t understand why you seem so indignant, I am even more confused about why you are upset that your posts have been deleted. As you can see from the Forum Log, you are the one who hid them:
