so...just asking for a friend...if a park-goer were to be caught by staff inside the CoDk building during park hours would that result in a permanent ban from the park? or just removal for the rest of that day? also, does anyone happen to know if the pre-show room has been closed off? and locked? thaanks :)
You most certainly would get banned. I don't know that it would be lifetime but you are probably looking at least at a year ban.

For the record, from a forum rules point of view, this discussion is fine as long as no one expressly encourages someone else to break the law.

For the same reason we don't have rules against people violating park NDAs or posting photos taken on rides despite park policy, we don't prohibit discussion of illegal activity, only the advocation of it. If someone breaks park rules, its up to the park to deal with that, not us. Similarly, if someone breaks the law, that's between them and law enforcement, we're not a party to it.

Since explaining what happens when you trespass and get caught is apparently not an answer to the question:

They give you a special prize and record your name in a book with all the other people that have won the prize. And then there's a parade all the way from DarKastle to your car. And since you can only win the prize once, they don't let you come back.

/s

But yeah, don't mean to be a party pooper, but if anyone is considering going back there it really isn't worth it. If you're that curious just get hired for HoS and snoop around when you can do so without trespassing.

I’m still trying to figure out if whoever rents this footage would need a full set up like what they had at BGW, or if they could use one static screen and (possibly) a motion simulator. It seems like a bit much to expect anyone to build the whole ride that BGW had from scratch.

Well, it is available -
"Now Falcon’s Licensing offers this thrilling motion-based 4D dark ride experience, including Pre-Show and Main Show media content."

I'd assume it would be for a park that currently has a 4D attraction that wants to convert to something "new".

I can see Busch gardens eventually creating a brand new 4D attraction in the Newkastle, not that it will ever compete with darkastle ,but I could see it happening

agreed, but if they still have sets just put away somewhere, then they are able to create a new one, again nothing in my opinion will bring back that feeling of darkastle but something that would fit the theme of the newkastle would do fine.
