We are planning on going sometime this week, probably on Wednesday or Thursday. How crowded are weekdays during the summer usually?

They usually aren’t to busy, whenever I go on summer weekdays I usually find mostly station waits. Usually the only rides that might have. a wait is Verbolten, InvadR, DarKoaster, and Pantheon. There may be a bit more crowds due to the nicer weather but it shouldn’t be to bad.

Once was meeting some of my bro's friends at the park many years ago. Am lucky to drive down 60 and see Scotland first...told the wife if cars are there we are turning around this isn't a democracy.....and there were....and we did :)

Saw a report that they are parking people in Scotland. I’d run far away.
I was there last night. I think it was one of those days where they had to start parking Scotland because the daytime crowds had not yet left the other lots as the HOS crowd was arriving. Once inside the park, there were a good amount of people leaving so I imagine it balanced out a bit. Crowds were not as bad as I had expected, 20~ minute maze wait times and 30-45-60~ wait times for coasters. We managed to do almost everything we wanted to do and left before closing.

No. We are here and waiting in a ridiculous line since 1:30 to park. Heard people talking about how backed up it is on 64.
To clarify my poor worded statement above, we waited in a long parking line at 1:30 to only arrive in the park after 2:30 and it only got more and more crowded. There will be lots of negative reviews incoming as attendance is vast and not everything open. Highly recommend members to not come…

We left at 3:45. In 48 years I have never seen crowds like we were seeing tonight as we left. They had stopped people at the metal detectors and weren't letting them go any further. I don't know if they had reached capacity or what the problem was. At 3:45 the overflow lot was over half full. It's just not fun when it gets this bad. I can only imagine what the food lines must be like about now. Even leaving the park was difficult. The crowd had completely blocked the sidewalk from the metal detectors to the bathrooms at the top of the hill. Saying excuse me to try to get through made no difference. Nobody gave an inch. We just had to force our way through to get out. I honestly wasn't expecting that many people on a weeknight.

A friend who works there said they hit capacity at 3:00 that might be a record.

Aren't there any restrictions on capacity so the park doesn't get too crowded? It sounds crazy there right now.
There are that is why there was the description of them not letting guests past security. Once they reach a certain ticket number scanned they stop new entrances till they have a certain number exit.

Hmm, I meant that I thought they would do something like restrict the amount of tickets that can be purchased to manage crowds. Isn't it only logical?

My wife and I and 2 college students went tonight and had a great time. Got to the parking gates at 1:30 and parked in first row in France within 10 minutes. Took about 15 minutes to get in park. While my wife and I watched the 2:45 Scrooge No More, my kids rode Pantheon twice and Verbolten twice. Meet them at 3:30 for Up on the Houstop. Did some shopping and got in line for train at 4:30. Wasn’t quite dark for train ride, but still fun. Did some more strolling and shopping and went to 6:30 Gloria. Left after show and had nice dinner at Mauricio’s. We knew it was going to be crowded, but not bad if you got there early.

A lot of lights were out and the ride lines and food lines were long after 4. No trams running on park side of 60. But people were getting into shows right up to showtime. Verbolten had 2 stations running. Alpengiest never ran. Many of flats had double employees trying to speed up the lines. Yes it was overcrowded, but if you got there early you could still have a great time.

I guess my question is, how would they know when you leave? I wasn't scanned going out. I don't recall ever being scanned when leaving the park.
