For clarity, are you trying to say I am wrong that there are lines everywhere in the park tonight and heavy crowds on the paths? Regardless of the conditions in the early afternoon, it has been crowded from the time I arrived.

I did not say you were wrong, I provided an update. I can't think of why you quoted my post, when you responded.

I’m directly outside of griffon. The line is easily manageable. The crowds on the paths have only been bad in Oktoberfest. Of what I have seen.

I’m being serious when I say this. Don’t come. It’s an absolute swarm. All parking lots are completely full (Even Overflows) and people are starting to park in local businesses parking lots. Wouldn’t be suprised if park reaches capacity. I left because there was no need to wait over an hour for every single coaster. Not to mention the mazes will probably be slammed. Just don’t waste your time coming.

So, in other words, It's just another typical Howl-O-Scream Saturday!

With about 100 school groups.

Also, I need a brain refresh. Aren’t HoS Sunday’s usually dead. I remember last year, it was deserted.

Anyone in the park today? Figure the rain should calm the crowds, plus the fact that it is a Sunday. Only issue is tomorrow is a a Federal holiday that I'm guessing schools get off.

Most local school divisions, at least on the peninsula, aren't off for the holiday tomorrow

We went to the three shows that were playing (Starfright was not,) and started doing houses right before 9:00. We encountered no lines at the houses whatsoever, and the ones we went to were decently staffed. Those houses were Lumberhacked, Catacombs, Frostbite and Unearthed. All provided decent scares, especially Frostbite and Lumberhacked. Catacombs and Unearthed were performing much better than the many other times I've visited which I was surprised at since I thought there would be a dearth of scare actors on a Thursday as compared to the other nights I've been. Axe Alley was still either undermanned or under-performing, but the vampires were on point, as was the single scare actor in front of Frostbite. She was working it and fierce. With plenty of extra seats for the shows, no lines for the houses, and decent staffing, I would highly recommend going next Thursday, supposing it will also have light crowds. Note that the park doesn't open until 5:00, the main gate didn't open until 4:45 and they didn't open the bridge to Ireland until 5:00 on the dot so we walked right into the 5:30 Fiends show.

I heard that they were already parking people across the street at 1pm. I think it is going to be really busy tonight, which isn’t really surprising.

Opening night of CT is historically very crowded. While it doesn't feel as busy as in the past, they are parking people across the street. The paths are heavy, but manageable.

Arrived this evening on New Years Day around 6PM, crowds were extremely non existent.

Had plans to finally catch the 2017 rendition of Scrooge at 9PM, when at about 8:10PM they announced they were closing the park early at 8:30PM due to "weather" but 95% sure it was because of attendance.
