Just so you all know, all the big Hampton Roads public school systems are on Spring Break this week. If the weather stays like it is today, the park will be very busy all week.

The crowds did seem to clear earlier than I'd expected. I got there around 445 yesterday, parked in Italy, Apollo was 15 minute wait, Alpie was 5, Invadr was around 30. Longest line was ice cream at Josephine's.

But its really good ice cream lol :)

Really? It doesn’t seem that bad. I came in the park at around 9:45 and it was less than 5 minutes in the toll plaza. We walked on to alpengeist, 5 minutes for Invadr, 15 minutes for verboten, and right now after lunch, it’s about 15 minutes for griffon.

They are having to have people walk through the back part of the Loch Ness queue, I haven't been through this in years, it was so cool to see it all again! I also haven't had a wait for Nessie in years, so this caught me off guard.

I haven't been through that part of the queue since 1999.  I usually avoid the park during busy days but I had a friend visiting from St. Croix that wanted to go so we went to ahead to the park and waited 40 minutes to ride.  It was worth the wait since we were able to "loop" with another train after the first drop.

That same day Alpengeist's queue was backed up across the footbridge into New France and we waited about 90 minutes to ride.  Apollo's queue was spilled out into the pathway all the way to the gift shop but only took 45 minutes to get on.  AC's ride-op crew in 1999 and 2000 were the best the park ever had.

do you think sunday will be very busy??? i'm hoping coolor weather and people startng to go back home will thin it out some.

Please restrict this thread to observations of current crowd levels from people in the park. I have created a thread for discussing future dates here.

What do the crowds look like? I'm debating stopping by on my way home.
