Exactly, now they may be better tracking it but at least in the beginning it was the wild west. I know local hospitals were estimating how many doses they needed for staff for that day. Then at the end of the day is they over estimated they were calling around to find people to give it to so they didn’t get poped for wasting vaccines. There was little if any paperwork other than that card. In addition at first that card was only meant to be a reminder for when you should get the second dose and what the first dose you got was. It was never meant as a long term medical document.Yeah when I got my vaccine they didn’t “check out any vials or write anything down, they only wrote on my card, and even then it’s just one lot number, which I can guarantee isn’t unique to me, because other relatives have the same lot number.
