Congratulations on being in the minority/ plurality of people that actually took the stay at home orders seriously. Unfortunately even if you put out 50-70% of embers, you can still have them spread into a full blown forest fire. So dont act indignant and that youre better than anyone else because you followed the medical guidlines at first but now you shouldnt have to because not everyone is.
We had curfews and at one point employers that were easential businesses we handing out documents to show police why you were out and not staying in your home. It wasn’t that I thought I was going above and beyond it was just the rules here.

My guess is you're misremembering this quote from an article in the NY Times from March;

" If it were possible to wave a magic wand and make all Americans freeze in place for 14 days while sitting six feet apart, epidemiologists say, the whole epidemic would sputter to a halt."

This is the quote I was thinking as well. This is the only time I remember anyone actually saying two weeks.

Again. All these things just reduced the actual ability of the quarantine to deal a significant blow to covid. I don't understand what point you are trying to make here. Just wear the damn mask okay?

I would not dream of hurting anyone on purpose. Unless it was uncomfortable, or inconvenient, or make me look weak, or challenge my political beliefs, or I see other other people hurting people.

But you know, I never want to hurt people.

We can debate all day whether masks are effective or not, but here's where I stand. Would I rather go around wearing a mask and find out that it wasn't effective or would I rather not West a walk and then later find out that I had COVID and that the mask would have prevented others from catching the virus? I know which one I would rather be caught doing.

I'm just as tired of this virus as everyone else is and I think that our governor is going a little farther than he should in restricting BGW being open. But part of the reason he has to do stuff like that is because time and time again people in this state refuse to do the simple things like wearing a mask, social distancing and regularly washing your hands. If everyone would commit to doing those three things we would be much better off. I'm not saying that means that you need to stay in the house. But we continue to be in this position because people refuse to do those three seemingly simple things.

Lolz. Too funny. We're heading toward half a million dead by 2020 closeout with no end in sight, and we're still arguing over if we did too much. We followed the standard American course of action when faced with a crisis: 1. Ignore it, then 2. Pretend it never happened. And then we wonder why its not getting any better and throw hissyfits over marginal issues like "is face mask enforcement enough while spending a day with hundreds of total strangers when said establishment is enticing people to spend money at their place of business in the middle of a depression (a depression we're all trying to ignore as well)?"

Without a doubt all but essential businesses should still be closed, that includes BGW. Numbers are not getting better; we've just normalized the death from the virus. And our stupidity dealing with this crisis as a country is only rivaled by genius-brained, super-uncorrupt governments like Brazil.

Do the season pass guest tickets work for the event
They are not suppose to work but there were cases reported of people calling and getting them to let them use them so you might be able to despite the fact that they say they don't.

Unless there is no chance of using them when the park re-opens fully, I wouldn't waste them on a 4 hour very limited attraction event. That is just my .02 though.

Dont worry, they do the same with me.

Yeah but sometimes you bring that on yourself...

I literally read two of your posts that made me laugh so hard. On the first one, you were upset about BGW's reservation system and how you had to wait in the car and that you spent less money than what you would have spent. On the second, you said that you have no showed on a few occasions and offered suggestions to BGW about what they should do to make it less likely you will no show, or atleast, let them know you won't be coming....

When you plan on going for a evening slot then suddelny have to work overtime and can not go there needs to be a easier way to cancel. If im at work I can not sit on the phone for a hour just to cancel something like that. And I dont think I ever said "make it less likely I will no show".

My point still stands and you've done me the honor of validating it. You're an excuse person that's fine, it's only a nuisance but it's not a crime.

Both points can be true. BGW needs a better cancellation system as a few of us have pointed out. I have no showed after trying to cancel resveration before. The fact that they have a system that makes it difficult to cancel and free up a spot is something that should be fixed not used as an excuse for over selling the event and keeping people and keeping people waiting in the car. To be blunt Busch is selling the event as a 4 hour event and then blocking people from not being able to get their full 4 hours because they over sold it. This is not any different in my view then if I went to McDonald's and they said we over sold the fries so we don't have enough so here is half of a large but you need to pay the price of a full large. In my case as a pass holder that lives minutes away and is not paying anything other then my monthly fee that ok but if I spent the 45 bucks or drove any decent amount of time and was told sit and wait and hope a slot opens up I would be lively fuming. The park is advertising 1,000 4 hour slots not 700 4 hour slots and 600 2 hour ones. It's fraud not to deliver that.

Others have suggested a penalty of sorts for no shows that fine but part of doing that is having a easy to use system to cancel which currently doesn't exist is something comes up late.
