Are there any updates here? It's July and definitely the full-swing of summer, we should be getting close to "Summer 2026" now, right? Have they poured midways, or built restaurants, bathrooms, back-of-house infrastructure? I guess I'm asking if this place looks like an actual park yet?

all the planned restrooms are built. Its still missing two restaurants and the hot lap building, unless those designs have changed.

midways are poured.. the property is getting a ton of plants and trees and general landscaping. I believe they are going to still open with a few fenced off areas pending construction. for instance. the Texas Porch Swing (Sky Blazer) has not begun construction yet. They have been testing the screamin swing along with the drop tower.

Honestly the property is looking great. There is so much attention to detail im actually blown away. They are putting more effort in than Universal Kids haha.

But on terms of opening.. I am thinking late August, which is still technically summer..

Do we know if Texas Wildcat is operational again? And how's the progress on the entry plaza/stores and toll booth area?

Thanks! I have been missing doing the video updates. Ill probably try and put together something soon within their guidelines..

Entry area still needs its shade structure and buildings need a bit of elements added to them. entry fountain is being put in. Im still confused on how parking will work at the park, i assume the parking garage will be utilized, however i dont know what pricing will look like. The area between the parking garage and the park is where Sky Blazer is supposed to go.. i am very curious about the delay on that attraction.

I plan to get out later this week to get an update on things.

It should include a hyper, if previous discussions were anything to go by. The park solicited proposals from... I think four or five manufacturers and has already ruled at least two out, including RMC.
I'd like it to include a GCI, they need a launch... there's a lot of places they could go. Hell maybe they buy one of those fucked off new launched GCIs... nah.

Hard to say what direction they are going in now. I know there is a ride package that they are looking into, but it does not include a hyper. There was lots of interest in a giga but now that over texas has one, and fiesta has a family launch. They really want to aim for a major ride that is unique to the area.

Seeing a lot of folks complaining about pricing on Reddit and thought I'd gather some opinions here.

Tickets start at $65, opening day is $100, includes unlimited food and drink but only runs from 4 til 10.
Season passes are $200 for Pro, $250 for Champion - the key difference mainly being steeper discounts. Included with both passes, amongst other benefits, are discounted tickets - I guess so you can buy tickets for others in your group???? Passholders also get their own entrance.
Parking is $30 for base, $45 for the garage, $75 for [snob voice] v a l e t.
Skip-the-line is called Podium Pass, it has two tiers - regular (once per ride) and Unlimited (self explanatory).
Hot Lap is $175 and apparently happens in a Bimmer.

Maybe I’m crazy but this all seems reasonable. The park has to try to turn a profit so prices can’t be super low. I think Six Flags being aggressively underpriced for years has messed with public perception of what a park should cost
