Putin Land is a fantastic idea!
Putin Land? There's no such place.

Excuse me, dear lady...

Mr. Gardens, I am a teacher of geography.

Oh, well, then you know all about it and what a terrible country it is. Nothing but desolate wastes and fierce beasts. And the poor little Putinites were so small and helpless, they would get gobbled up right and left. A Wangdoodle would eat ten of them for breakfast and think nothing of it. And so, I said, "Come and live with me in peace and safety, away from all the Wangdoodles, and Hornswogglers, and Snozzwangers, and rotten, Vermicious Knids."

If there aren’t any vodka shops in the Russian-themed hamlet, I’ll be greatly disappointed...

Oh Popov, how we all love to hate you, but appreciate all you have done for us.

I think if they sold large amounts of vodka, HoS would end up being an even bigger shit show.

Not sure if this counts as a fully fledged idea but combining the idea of the new madrid coaster and my idea for an olympus themed retheme of festa italia. Firstly featuring a retheme of Apollos Chariots queue line to be a temple to Apollo, featuring a giant greco statue of said deity in the middle of the first queue building. Secondly, taking out roman rapids in exchange for a dark ride featuirng a journey into the realm of the gods and mythological creatures, to which I'll give a blow by blow of each ride scene below. third, a nightly show featuring fireworks as well as lighting, fire, and water effects outside of the dark ride building. This show features the gods and different popular myths. Perhaps a stage for plays to be done about the gods in a traditional method of storytelling, where the pink shading is. Lastly a bridge over to the new coaster in the orange shaded area.

Journey to Olympus

In the ruins of this ancient Greek temple you come face to face with the gods due to an enchanted item in your possesion, but beware many creatures want the item for their own desires, and are willing to take it by force. If they get their hands on the item they can gain godlike powers and destroy both realms. Can you keep them from gaining the item and can you get back home?

1)portal to Olympus: The item takes you to olympus, realm of the gods

2)Flying over Olympus: Hermes meets you and escorts you over the beautiful olympian countryside to mount olympus

3)Meeting the Gods/attack:Here you are brought before the gods and Hermes is tasked with guiding you safely home by venturing to the necropolis, however the creatures begin to attack and you must flee.

4)Escaping the Battle/Harpie attack: The battle begins as many creatures begin to strike out at you, especially a swarm of harpies clawing and screeching at you to obtain the item. You spiral away from Hermes into the darkness of the minotaurs maze

5)The Minotaur's Maze:You turn corner after corner trying to evade the vicious minotaur, eventually coming face to face with him as he throw an axe at you. You spin to reveal the axe buried in the wall behind you. Hermes catches up and flies you away in the nick of time.

6)Poseidons Realm:Hermes tells you the only safe place to reach the necropolis is through poseidons realm under the waves. You dive below reaching atlantis, as sea monsters and sirens begin to attack. Poseidon tries to hold them off by calling his most formidable beast...

7)Kraken Attack: the vicious kraken begins to attack as you weave and spin your way between its tentacles finally reaching a hydrothemric vent which you enter, entering the necropolis

8)Into Necropolis/Cerebrus: cerebrus greats you with a low growl, hades himself welcomes you to his domain, as floods of enemies begin to make their final assault.

9)Final Battle/ Victory: during the battle, the only way to save the two realms is to use the power of the item to vanquish the beasts, doing so right before the creatures win, earning you the respect and gratitude of the gods. Zeus allows to journey back home, vowing to watch over you for eternity.

10) Portal Home:Just as you came in, you are transported back home to the ruins.

For those of us that were at some point involved in marching band (I know you're out there you fellow nerds) I've had an idea for a show I've been sitting on for a while. Curious how other perceive it.

Basically, woman is running around in the field after she enters the field with the intro fanfare, and is exposes to four different groups of creatures (the four country sections) each mystical and related to their respective music, which each section being led by a lead soloist. Then after the four sections, the woman takes on vocals to embrace all four types of creatures on the field at the same time for the "Garden of Light" that is this celebration. This is a very light and surface description, as I've worked out a lot of it. Just curious what others think of it. I think it'd kick ass, especially if the vocals section is combined with the saxophone solo of the same melody.

Edit: Preciate the move. I didn't know where to put it.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but

I think it'd be a cool thing if they added a "behind the scenes backlot tour" or something like that. Basically, they take one of the extra parking trams (minus a couple cars to keep the group size to a minimum), pick you up from say the England lot, and commence on a tour of the behind the scenes of BGW.

I made this quick image to kinda showcase it, yellow being the path of the tram with arrows for direction, and red dots being possible stopping points to have a little shpiel from the tour guide about the location.

The return route could also run out from the south of the greenhouses and drive all the way back up Busch Rd until they reach the offices, where it rejoins the route to England.

I am currently thinking about whether it should be a 20-30 minutes straight drive through type attraction, or something that takes a considerable amount longer (hour or more?) where at most of the stops, the tram stops and allows people to safely disembark and get up close to see (but not touch) things like the boneyard, train yard, greenhouse, and offices.

Thoughts?

Im not sure there is that much interesting back there. Other than the small greenhouse area there is not much to see, mostly70s/80s looking buildings and trailer offices, employee smoking area,

I was thinking greenhouses, boneyard, train yard, offices, verbolten launch off festhaust park, just kinda cool things to see.

I see it generating interest similar (not really kinda) to that of the roller coaster insiders but instead of coaster enthusiasts, BGW enthusiasts. I know id LOVE to see the boneyard

What about a Gerstlauer Bobsled for the former DarKastle plot (possibly inside the building)? Could easily hit a 42" minimum, the biggest gap in BGW's lineup, and also be the first of its model in the US. Despite the model name, it seems more like a Schwarzkopf Wildcat than a Mack Bobsled. (Another throwback since they actually had a Wildcat a long time ago)

With the brand new 355’ height waiver filed and ProjectMadrid breaking ground, it would appear there are exciting times ahead for BGW. Obviously we know nothing about the new height waiver yet, but it definitely feels like there is a push to make BGW more than just a regional park.

Taking various ideas from other posts, this is generally what I’d hope BGW becomes over the next 15-20 years. The masterplan of which we all wish we could take a glimpse.

Orange - Spain hamlet. We all want it. This is where the giga should go. This area is tucked away in the back, so it needs a tall attraction to be visible to guests. Remove the boneyard and there will be plenty of space for and out and back design. Add shops, a theater, and a tapas/sangria restaurant.

Blue/purple - Cross the bridge into Greece. This is an interesting area because the river forks. The purple dot would be perfect for an observation tower. Or...the location of Mt. Olympus. Imagine standing on the Italy/Germany bridge staring east down the river with a beautiful mountain looming. Build a dark ride inside the mountain. Elsewhere, add another wooden or a ground up RMC.

Yellow - another park entrance

Green - resort and hotel

Red - pedestrian bridges

Black - parking

White - access road

Pie in the sky? Sure. But hopefully SEAS recognizes that BGW stands out among theme parks and is worth the large investment.

Sounds interesting, but didn't someone else on here indicate that most of that land is held for conservation and as a waterway buffer so that in order to develop as you're proposing would require the park own even more adjacent undeveloped land? Essentially that they're fairly limited in what they can do with the existing undeveloped land they hold?

Well the alternative is very expensive. It's not that it can't be done, but it would require something to this level of big time expansion to make jumping to that peninsula worth it to them.
