What I’m curious about is whether Le Scoot is a permanent part of the event lineup now, or if they have it on standby in case another ride goes down for the day. Either way, it’s a decision I support.

Ride ops didn't know. One guy told me he was surprised when he showed up and they told him to go to the flume. No mention on the board at the entrance saying it was open. But it also didn't say Griffon was down.

Specifically because it increases the number of rides that little kids would be able to enjoy, which might encourage some families to make the trip that might otherwise be staying home.

My 7 year old told me that she doesn't want to come back to the park after I took her there the other week week.

When I told her that they had Le Scoot open yesterday her jaw dropped and her eyes popped out of her head. If this was a longer term change I am sure she would want to come back.

My 3 year old has been getting quickly bored with the park, but my 5 year old loves it because he can ride Invadr and as of yesterday loch ness. We all rode the flume, but the 3 old doesn't love that as much as his brother.

To be fair, when I was three, I got bored with BGW too. Much preferred WCUSA over BGW for a while as a child since there was a lot more to do for those under 48". Once I started riding coasters, that all changed...

BGW isn’t that great for kids under 48”. The rides are limited, compared to other parks, and the rides they have are spread all over the park. This is one of those areas they would do well to focus on for a couple years, vice big attraction after big attraction.

How does LotD or FoF hold up during normal times for the younger small guests? I honestly don't know what sort of restrictions or issues there might be...

You could run the three kiddie rides at the back of Land if Dragons, but you’d have to block off everything else. Forest of Fun’s big issue is social distancing when entering/exiting, as it’s a narrow path, and I don’t know how you socially distance in the Elmo line specifically.

Italy and Festa would probably be best if you wanted to maximize opportunities for kids of many ages under the limited opening. With the two coasters it’s equivalent to opening France.

So I was thinking about the parking thing and extra guests waiting at the gate:

Anyone maybe think there’s a connection? I wonder if there were people that just showed up and the raising of parking prices is a way to deter people from doing so. Of course this has little impact on pass holders/members doing it.

I think they should have done a massively discounted price for pass holders/members. Just based on BGWs history my gut really tells me there’s a fair number of non-reservations showing up daily and BGW is giving in letting them in and the recent observation of people not being let in is more from that than purposely overselling the event.
