Carowinds does the best job that I have seen with lights in the tall trees. They are full of lights! They have twice the lights in the trees as Kings Island and more than KD as well. For what it is worth, the lights I saw at Caro several years ago were easily the best I have experienced at a park.
I believe that fireworks are only New Year's Eve.We're planning to visit this Friday - temperature is expected to be in the 60's, sunny and no wind (possible shorts weather). Plus there will be fireworks at night - looking forward to it.
I just got an email that the fireworks are Friday and Saturday. It's also listed on the website. The weather for Williamsburg on Saturday is rain so Friday might be your best chance to see them.I believe that fireworks are only New Year's Eve.
I guess they added a day this year.I just got an email that the fireworks are Friday and Saturday. It's also listed on the website. The weather for Williamsburg on Saturday is rain so Friday might be your best chance to see them.
I believe that Celtic Fyre and Twas the Night both end New Year's Eve.The online calendar doesn't show any showtimes after January 1st. Does anyone know if the shows will actually be performed January 2, 6, 7 and 8th?
the online website now has scrooge no more and Celtic fyre on 6th 7th and 8thActually, the 1st has the full show schedule which includes Celtic Fyre and Twas the Night.
I was hoping to go on the 2nd or the 8th, but not if there aren't any shows or entertainment.
Happens during HOS too sometimes.BGW is a sh!* show today. They just let cars in because it was so backed up.
I don’t know why their stock price is going well. They can’t operate parks for maximum profits. All they do is cost cut and gouge. That works for short term profits but not in the long run.We were there on Dec 30. Crazy crowded. Watched the fireworks from the boat dock, almost perfect view and hardly anyone there.
Weird thing is that they really didn't want my money.
Tried to get a hot mocha from the England bar at 6:30. Person said they were closing and wouldn't let me get it.
Tried to get bowls of soup from silk road to enjoy while waiting for onto us to start. They had an employee blocking additional people from getting in line. Five bowls of soup would have been $50 from us. And I saw her turn away 4 other groups in the minute I was there.
Well this aged well.Light show with Pompeii, anyone?
