I wonder if the fun cards they are selling that allow entrance starting January 4th will still be valid?
This might add a few less crowded day for people who hate when it's packed. Plus the park is almost Christmas town light then anyway. Smart move.
Does that include the whole week or only the weekend of the 6,7 and 8? The website is unclear. I guess we will have to wait for the official calendar. Historically the last weekend of CT is always dead. Its a great time to go.
historically when they have added that weekend it's only been Friday through Sunday.
With DarkKastle being built, where will they be having Santa's Workshop?

I was thinking that maybe Santa could be moved to the backstage area of the Royal Palace Theater. It's the same place they had the penguins the first year. If I recall there is enough room and the waiting queue could easily stretch out in the seating area. I am not sure if any ice skating show is returning.
I think the big question is whether or not the "event pavilion" will be done in time.
I have reliable info that as other have reported Twas will return minus Elvis so it's not available
They had dine with Santa in 2019. We had gone every year they had it, and it was always a full house, so I'm sure it made money. They had the same elf for years who remembered my kids the last couple of years. It really helped make it magical for them.
2020 was probably the last year they were young enough to really enjoy it.

With this announcement it will be the fifth year in a row that the number of lights is advertised as 10 million or more as it was 2018 when it hit 10M. The most accurate 10M number I've ever heard was 10.2M. So it looks like no or hardly any increase in the number of lights again this year.
They used to add 1 million lights per year. However I think they are just fine with the 10 million. They can’t add much more without it looking tacky
I just hope they can keep the peppermint theme somewhere in the park, because rhinefeld looked amazing last year in those lights.
I dont think it needs to be about the amount of lihts but rather the use of the lights. Its like the tree leading into Festa and the O Tannenbaum tree, they are icons but we need something new, something wow.
