So Scott won't go down without a fight. As punishment for doing a three American tapper show, he would not allow the cast to do "Giant Parting Glass". This is where ALL of the Irish dancers even the subs are in line near the end. They did this last year and is blocked specifically for the last show of the year. Way to show'em Scotty!

They should have done it anyway. What are they going to do? Fyre them? (Sorry, couldn't resist.) But I'm still serious. Even more so if they aren't coming back by force or choice. They should have all been included.

(Let's see...this one doesn't go in at #26 of my list, either. I must put in it much higher.)

This is my exact thought when it comes down to the performers improving on stage and all the other little extra bits. If they wanted to they could have just sat there and really dragged out the show much longer than it was. However, like mentioned, they need costumes and I am pretty sure unless the costumers are interested in losing their jobs too, they wouldn't be getting costumes.

Of course they could have gotten on stage with their own personal tap shoes? and whatever clothes they had on.

I don't understand. Punishment? Not allow? IS SG some kinda Darth Vader threatening with a Force choke? Are security guards on standby backstage? How was he preventing this from happening? The entire cast is moving on anyway right, sooooo...help me understand. For I am n00b. :p

I like the reference, but other than the costumes not being issued, the only thing stopping them was themselves.

I guess I wasn't clear and all missed my point. I didn't mean dance nor perform. I meant the last pose they do at the end before going to the back. So damn the costumes and EVERYONE involved get up there. Costumed or street clothes, techs, props, lighting, etc, etc...they all matter. They ALL deserved it.

I am just giving extra confirmation, it is official now! Celtic Fyre will return for 2014, check out the Abbeystone theater for that official confirmation.

Last night was a busy night. I got two more shows scrubbed and posted. I'm a bit hesitant to put these up, because the footage as a whole isn't up to my quality standards for public consumption. These were shot with tighter zoom, with the intent of cutting the video up for the edited version. So, there are lots of rapid pans and places where the auto-focus is struggling. But, if you are on this thread, you are a fan (or a troll), and you may be interested in seeing the raw footage, much of which will end up on the cutting room floor (figuratively speaking).
1:30 show, part 1
1:30 show, part 2
4:00 show, part 1
4:00 show, part 2

Feeling overloaded yet?

I guess I can thank you for this information. I still think the whole idea behind this sux.

EDIT:
Have they EVER posted a sign like this in previous years for returning shows? This seems a little fishy to me. It's like a way to quell the concerns of people upset with the cast being let go or something.

Nah, I'm fairly sure they had a similar sign for Celtic Fyre last year.

We've also seen Roll Out the Barrel promoted by the park. Trust nothing, especially this early.

But Roll Out the Barrel was never really promoted as a new show, it was just a phrase/name that happened to be in a pamphlet that had a short paragraph about Oktoberfest in general.
