Table seats are not for sale, nor can you just get there early and sit there. The first row that is a bench is available though. The table seats are reserved for people with tours. If there is no tour, theater hosts randomly select people from the audience to place there.

The best way to get the table seats is ask a theater host. Sometimes they will tell you they are just reserved, other times they may ask if you have four people or less and give you the seats. They are supposed to save the table seats and try to pick people who have never been to the show and put them there, but if you ask they are very nice about it.

Yes it is, I assume the original member who asked the question of how to get the seats probably couldn't find the Howl-o-Scream shows.

What tour are you referring to? I thought they stopped doing Celtic Fyre insider tours a while ago. My friends and I really love the show and we've been picked to sit at the tables a few times before. I just wondered if there was some way to pay for a table and get guaranteed seating there for a show. Oh well. Thanks anyway :)

Tours specifically for the Abbeystone have been discontinued, but there are still other tour like the All-Access Tour and Elite VIP Tour that offer reserved seating for all the shows. If your group is small enough perhaps, they will reserve the tables at the Abbeystone.

Because theater hosts are supposed to only allow random people who have never been to the park before to sit there, there is never a guarantee to get those seats. However, the best thing you can do is to either reserve a tour that includes reserved seating for all the shows or ask the theater host really nicely.

Just as a side note, Celtic Fyre isn't being performed. Right now they have Fiends in the Abbeystone.

I'm just glad its coming back next year. I had a great time with some of the newer cast members, and older cast members.

such bad lighting
Just curious.....What makes the lighting so terrible? The shadows across faces? The amount of light in general? The color of the light?
Signed,
A knowitall who knows nothing about lighting :)

I would have to go back and watch it again, but I recall there were some horrible cold spots in the general washes. The colors were week and poorly chosen. I seem to recall that I really had some strong feelings about their instrument choices. I do recall that some of the cues were ineffective. Finally I think I felt some of the gobos were being used just for the sake of using gobos. I hate lighting for the sake of itself in a show that is not supposed to showcase lighting design. (those are rare and explicit) I am generally a minimalist with lighting design, however I admit to over use of fog, backlighting skrims, and throwing up gobos just to make pretty light beams in fog.

Celtic Fyre wont be the same this year: no Scott no Rachel. From what I heard there might only be 3 faces back in the show this year. Good luck to Scott with his new show Rockin Road to Dublin. Sure hope to be able to catch it near by. Did see it in Newport News last year....Great show...

I saw Celtic Fyre and I was ok, but it did not come close to the performance given I London Rocks and Entwined. My friends that perform on Broadway all say that Celtic Fyre can not even be compared to London Rocks and Entwined

^From what I understand, it's almost like the show is "locked in place" indefinitely. It's very obvious that someone important likes it enough to want to keep it. It seems like they are trying to use this show as a guide for the future. I don't see this show going anywhere until they have another fully successful main-season show. They are getting closer. They just need to forget the surveys, and go by other clues of what people like.

I usually stay out of these discussions, but my impression is that they aren't open enough to feedback to accurately make that assessment.

For example, last year I took one of the exit surveys, and the way they had written it assumed that I had gone to the park to see London Rocks. You can't get real feedback, if you ask the questions in such a way that you skew the answers.
