KD is $89 to renew. I saw on Colliwood Studios he pushed it to the checkout page for Canadas Wonderlands sale and it listed the 2026 All-Park Passport as an item on the final listing. That makes me think once the MVP sale is over that comes back as an upcharge and they’re tacking it on to get people to pull the trigger.
Personally, I am not sure how many will move on them just because they include the all park passport during the sale. It’s difficult to imagine a lot of families especially moving on it for that purpose unless they have plans to be in areas with other parks already. But we will see I certainly would like to renew at $89 with all park included.
Not valid for Knott’s Scary Farm, special ticket events, or park buyout admission. Reservations required at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels on select dates with priority given to home park passholders and resort guests.
Will the Fright Fest mazes be considered "Special ticket event(s)"? Admission to the actual park on those days is one thing, but I recall haunted maze access being a distinct perk listed on certain pass levels last year.
Seeing as the KD website specifically mentions Haunt access, I'd be willing to place a large bet on the answer being yes! The same has been the case with legacy Six Flags for quite a while now. For the longest time, I used to completely ignore the houses (along with the extra fee to access them) in favor of going on more rides instead.

The majority of customers I would bet just go to their home park and the all park passport isn’t going to mean anything to them.
What is going to mean something to them is when they cut out events like Winterfest and cut operating hours after they already advertise them after they already advertised them for this year.
If people are intelligent, they’re going to know that a cheaper pass is even going to be a worse experience
I think we’re gonna get the chainwide 2026 announcements today around 11am EST. I initially thought they were just advertising the passes, but most parks have announced their deals for next year which typically coincide with the time they announce new attractions.
Over Texas posted a teaser about an hour ago, and SF Great America has been advertising 7/31 as their date for a while now.

Over in the Carowinds 2026 thread, someone found a trademark for the name “Rip Roarin’ Falls” and “Timber Hallow”, so those will presumably be the names for the ride and new area respectively. Carowinds also posted a teaser for 7/31 on social media and since they announced their 2026 pass deals, I would not be surprised if it is the new attraction announcement as well.
[EDIT] Maybe push the time back an hour? 12p EST might make more sense.
So 14 removed total if this is actually worth going off of? That’s such an insane number (compared to the 8 last year) that I’m willing to bet this is just a mistake in the marketing department.
What a strange way to advertise your park chain. "1000 entertainment experiences" and "500 live shows" - I'd like to see the math on what they are counting here.
Also if you're going off RCDB, that shows 294 which includes SFA and four coasters not yet open for 2026, plus Great Adventure's 2027 ride for 294. SFA shows nine so we're not too far off, unless they do another round of cuts across all parks (or someone didn't do the math right here).
Some of those 40+ parks are waterparks - not all of those even have meet and greets or live bands, etc. Maybe you get a DJ dance party, if you want to count that. And I guess I could also count seasonal shows (as long as they're still DOING seasonal events), but my whole point is this: what a strange thing to brag about. And for the Cedar Fair Legacy parks, many of these used to have a lot more - parades, fireworks, ice shows, more indoor show venues, etc.
Live entertainment is a part of the whole package, but the parks themselves do not have consistent offerings across the chain, or even year to year or season to season. I'm not sure that stacks up against other park operators.
