The park had a trabant called Wagon Wheel back in the 80s. The outward facing trabant doesn’t look great as it throws one against restraints.

I don't find Freestyles uncomfortable at all, but I much prefer the older Trabants—I just find that the forces on them tend to be more intense and way more interesting.

Name checked in this write up in 2016 (as the new County Fair was on the way) - they said they wanted one, and they got one. Have to respect that!

That Breakdance from Holiday Park never did surface.

They mentioned obtaining an enterprise in that article. Then recently Cedar Fair decided they don’t want them and removed Witches Wheel and Sol Loco. Huss still produces them so it shouldn’t have been a parts issue. That’s a shame. They are wonderful rides

The article mentioned that they were looking for a Schwarzkopf Enterprise model not the Huss version. The Cedar Fair Enterprise models, that were removed, were all Huss models.

That’s true. But not very logical of them. Since Schwarzkopf went out of business in the 80s and Huss still makes theirs. Unless they wanted the Schwarzkopf to keep Carowinds Meteorite (scream weaver) alive.

Huss is notably horrible at reliability anymore.... They used to be the king but that king has fallen. Simpler designs are often easier to deal with and source parts for. Gerstlauer/Maurer/Zierer also likely produce parts for the Schwarzkopf stuff but, even so, it's trivial to find someone to reproduce defunct parts for simpler rides.

Yes, this is an outside looking in perspective, but I really think that avoiding Huss is a thing that parks try to do in today's world.

The PvZ queue remaining instead of being demolished makes me think that the action theater will be home to another attraction at some point.

I hope after burn gets a more modern retheme/or themed upgrades to it. Maybe a fresh coat of paint and new train design, and a new entrance/logo with this new look of the section.

Anybody seen markings, or any evidence that this project is moving forward?

The permits are still working their way through the system. No reason to be at all concerned yet though I didn't think. A project like this can likely easily be completed solely over the off-season.
